Pete Dye's Diabolical Design

This is one of Pete Dye's first ever designs and it resides right here in Northeast Ohio! How lucky are we? Enough said. Get out here and play the Lake/River and enjoy the round. The course is tough but fair and the views and the scenery are spectacular.

Very slow play

Awesome course, got to play the River and Lake which are the best 18 out of the 27 holes they have! Unfortunately too many groups in a row so very slow play and we could not play through

Still one of the top publicly accessible courses in the area

Fantastic Pete Dye design in superb condition. Nicest rolling greens I've played this year.

The course is great, the pace play is painful

Fowler's Mill is a gem. The coure is always a great challenge. Many different level players love to come out and enjoy the course. The pace of play was painful. It took over 3 hours to play the Lake course. We were hitting a shot and waiting and waiting and waiting. It was a couple of groups in front of our group that were very slow. I actually played the third nine Maple just to able to nine holes of golf without having to wait fifteen minutes between shots.

This course was better than advertized. The fairways were plush and the greens were fast.

After not being able to get to Fowlers Mill for a decade, we were happy to see not much has changed. The facility was Fantastic !! Condotions were very well maintained. Although the course was very challenging from the medium tees, you were rewarded for being in the fairway, without being overly penalized for just missing the fairway. Speed of play was excellent. Defineatly going back this year.

Very nice

The course is in amazing condition for this time of the season. Always have loved the layout, and the pricing was very reasonable. Walked all 27 holes in about 5 and a half hours

This course is a classic.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area, even with it's age the course is still very challenging.

Beautiful

Fowlers Mill is a beautiful course, especially in mid October. Found a great deal on Golfnow and had to go play this course. The day was cool and misting/sprinkling but it may have been the best day for golf all year. The course was in great condition. The tee boxes are well marked and level. The fairways and rough (did get into the rough, just to check it out though) were cut properly and didn't show signs of abuse or overplay. The greens werein great condition and fast despite the wet conditions and rolled true. The staff was friendly Even the electric carts are great (silent), so you can just enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of Fowlers Mill Golf Course. If I could play everyday on just one course in northeast Ohio, this would be it. Absolutely gorgeous and challenging

Lucky to have a Pete Dye classic so close

Fowler's Mill is an annual must play. Wonderful layout. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful. And quite a test. Played it just 12 days after greens were aerated and they were already healed quite well. Kudos to the grounds crew. Course does tend to get soggy off of the fairways after rain and mandate path only. But that's a small sacrifice for such a gem.

Must course to play in Northeast, Ohio

Nice challenging golf course. Played it about a dozen times. Always enjoy playing this course. Course was in nice shape except for the sand traps. Need groomed. Good place to play. Can't see paying their regular rates. Alot of other nice courses in the area for half the price. Like going at least once a year though.

Love Fowler's

I have been playing at Fowler's for the better part of 10 years and I love it every time I go. The staff is very friendly, the food is terrific, and the course is quite challenging, but a lot of fun to play.

If you can find a good rate on Golfnow, snatch it up and play this Pete Dye designed course!
