About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Blue Heron Pines - A South Jersey Staple of Golf
Blue Heron Pines has been a staple of South Jersey golf for as long as I can remember. I’ve been playing there since i was a kid in the mid 90’s. Unlike many other courses in the area, through out the years Blue Heron has always stayed consistently in great shape with no ups or downs. I’m more of a late afternoon kinda guy and you can’t beat their rate for 18 after 3pm. It’s one of, if not the best rates around for the type of quality you get. The inside and outside staff are always very friendly and make you feel welcome whether you are a member, local non-member, or just visiting the area. I will always continue to support this place!

Nice course. Great value.
I could play this course every day. It’s fair but not easy. It has a good layout. The bunkers have lots of sand. Greens are nice. Tee blocks nice too.
Would play again tomorrow.

Great layout! The course had some challenging holes and green complexes. Some target golf is required to play well on this course.

If you are in the area, you should play this course. You definitely need to play it a couple of times to score well.

Decent Stephen Kay course. I always preferred the East course that sadly closed to this one.
