About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Excellent course
Always wanted to play here, but always saw the price was out of budget for me. Glad golf now was able to advertise a reasonable price for this excellent course.
Great conditions for time of year
Course is in great condition considering how late in the season it is. All the staff is super friendly especially Gary.

Bunkers and greens
I have played this course for many years and every time this year, the greens have been horrible. There is no consistency, firmness, or speed, like there use to be. The pace of play is embarrassing and the bunkers looked like they haven’t been raked since the course opened
Country club feel
Treated very nicely from beginning to end. Course in very good condition even though greens aerated. We played as a twosome with no issues of wait times. Will definitely play again when in Atlantic city area.
Blue Heron, ice course
The course is in good shape, not great but certainly enjoyable.. the greens were recently aerated which is a drag for putting but no big deal... beautiful day and friendly atmosphere.
Overpriced
Everything was just average here. You can lay much better courses for better prices
Friendly staff
We went out at the earliest tee time and the gentlemen was there to greet us and load our clubs. Course conditions were good despite overnight rain. Just wish the bar would have opened earlier!
Very nice
Greens are fast and with medium difficulty.
A few very long par 4 for a 200-y driver.
Liked to play there although it was car path only because of the previous rainy days.
Great early golf
Awesome greeting staff amd set up crew. Very welcoming and had plenty of information of course and amenities. The course had a good amount of challenges and water. I would highly recommend it
