Little Mountain Country Club
About
Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

Course conditions poor. Rude staff and over priced
Course should not really be open in its current condition. Every green is a different experience. The sand traps are mud traps. They have signs posted everywhere to retain 6 ft social distancing but they force (not in a friendly way) complete strangers to share a cart...at least put cart separators in the carts like a alot courses do.!!! It hasn't rained for a few weeks and they have Cart Path ONLY. Why???? Finally they charge ridiculous course fees to suffer these indignities!!! I will be golfing elsewhere. Such a shame as this used to be such a great course.
Great Layout not maintained
This is no longer the once premium course. Not worth more than $20. Play St. Denis or even Painesville CC nearby for better conditions.
Bad condition
Course is usually in great condition, but the fairways are aerated and hasn't been racked clean.
Surprised the course was still charging $30 plus to still play and not post there current course conditions on their website.
Its almost November in Cleveland and prices should be dropping, especially when the course is being prepared for the off season.
Gotta do better, but on a high note, the greens are still in great condition once you find your ball in the middle of all the aerated plugs left in the fairway...
plugs left on farway
Course should not have been open due to wetness and plugs left on farways after aeration.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course, especially if you like sand traps! Very scenic, especially for this section of north eastern Ohio. You could almost think you were in South Carolina, sans the alligators!
Slow Ride
The group in front of us could have easily played a five hour round on a putt putt course. They had no business taking on the likes of this course. Our round was 4:50 long and waited on almost every hole.
With that being said the greens ran true and ran fast. Best I’ve seen them in years.
Course was an A- condition overall. Can’t wait to play this track again.
A real golf course!
In great condition and very challenging. This is a course for serious golfers.
Golf "Pro" is a douche bag
LM "pro" Bryan Huff thinks its ok to talk disrespectfully to membership holders. This course is also NOT worth the price. Not well maintained. Go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people. Needless to say we will not be renewing our membership
Hit the breaks!
I decided to play LM for the first time this year and I'm glad I did. Teed off just before 10 and it took about 4 hours even to play. Everything went well out on the course and I was surprised to see the conditions this time of year.
The fairways and rough were excellent condition, so if you hit the fairway your ball rolled out nicely. The greens were even in great shape too. Might be too firm and fast for lesser experienced players or those who like slow greens. Took a few holes to get the pace, but they rolled true with very little bounce.
The only thing negative is that most bunkers were untouched and had footprints all over and no rakes (thanks Covid). Also no water on the course, so bring a gallon with you if its a hot day.
As long as I can get a hot deal, I will certainly be back more often. Looking forward to this place in the fall!
Great Course, horrible pace
I have always enjoyed the course and the layout. Everything was in very good shape, even considering it has poured earlier in the day. Greens smooth, fast, and true. It drains really well and was not impacted at all by the wet. The pace was absolutely abysmal however. Some tee boxes were 3 groups deep. The pace improved some on the back, only to slam back to an even worse halt on about the 15th with what appeared to be families who live on the course jumping in and grinding the last several holes to a halt. We couldn't even finish the 17th hole before it was pitch dark. Never saw a ranger all day. So it was fun, while you were playing and not waiting.
Friendly staff
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was a little slow...even for a weekend. Great golf course though!!
