Hinckley Hills Golf Course

This course is very scenic especially in the fall. They have done a great job improving the course over the season and done well in keeping up with the leaves this fall. Staff is friendly and seem genuine. Pace of play was great. Will definitely be back

I love this course because it has always spots and gorgeous views. It is also hilly for great exercise. Since it has great pace of play, it would be perfect for beginners. I just love this course.

It has been a few years since I have played this course. Overall, it has not changed much since I played it last.The main change is the new layout with five added holes around the course which are 3 par 4's and 2 par 3's. The BAD: The new holes are not as good as the original 5 that were removed. One of the par 4's that was added is in a ravine and has no landing area for your drive and is borderline unplayable. Yes as others have stated the fairways are terrible and weedy, but I just played it as a burned out links course in which you get loads of roll when you hit the fairways. The GOOD: Played this course because of the deal I got which cost me $15 dollars on a weekend, I would recommend most courses for that price anything higher is to much. This course is a challenge from the back tees and very long, but does have some holes that are shorter and can lead to easy birdies. The were slower but ran smooth on the morning we played.

Save your money and go somewhere but here. I don't think these people know how to take care of a golf course. The fairways are basically dead grass and weeds. Also, have fun trying to hit out of crab grass every shot! And the rough is probably easier to hit out of than fairways. Rough has more grass and not as dead. The fairways are very dry, looks like they are never watered, so many holes, just awful. The only thing good about the course is the greens. While they may look good, some of the pin placements on #2 are just outrageous. If you go here, think that the putts that you think have break go straight and vice versa. And you can't hit shots at the pin because if a ball hits the green most likely it's going to bounce off. Way too overpriced, clubhouse is very outdated, selection of golf balls and clothes is the best part. And stay away from hot dogs. They boil them, then beat them in the microwave for a plastic feel when you bite into them. Overall a bad course. They do not take care of it. Too high of a price for this course. Go down the road and go to Ironwood. A much nicer course

Won't go there again. Fairways are in bad shape. No yardage markers, no ball washer on most t boxes. Too much clover in fairways. Very hilly and narrow. Some greens are way too slopes. Ball will roll, stop, and roll backwards and go past you. Go from a 15 ft putt turns into a 25 ft putt. That's just stupid. Played better corses for less money thru golfnow.

Why are you sending walkers out on a Saturday afternoon? We had 3 two-somes in front of us the whole round! 2 of those groups were walkers and would not pair up. Extremely slow play and terrible course management. Also, how about water for golfers?? Or even someone driving around selling drinks

Friendly staff, course is in good shape for a dry August. Greens are in excellent condition. Well worth the money

My apartment complex has better grass than these fairways. Not sure if the greens even have sand in them. Such varying outcomes when your ball hits. You walk on them and they're either soft, squishy or springy. Course needs work!

Greens were in ok shape. Everywhere else was a disaster. Fairways were 90% weeds and I don't think they have seen water since 1974. Hot dogs tastes like plastic and I am not even sure they are ok to eat.

The ranger was at the first tee box giving a breakdown of certain holes on the course which I found convienant for not having played there before. It helped. The staff was nice and most importantly the people who golf there were nice. I was by myself and everyone had no problem with me playing through. Awesome experience

Had a good time enjoying the round with my son. Course was to the dry side but it was far better than I expected. Greens were fast and kept us on our toes. Staff was pleasant and so was the weather.

Dragging along close to a five hour round, starting with 2 par 5s and a long par 4 (ugh!), we waited behind every tee box.

Way too hilly,fairways wrer all dried out, not a lot of grass to hit from the fairway. the greens were good very large! shot a 79 for 18 holes could have been better if the fairways had grass i birdyed 4 par 5s.

challenging good length, excellent views length very important, but so is shot placement greens tricky some very tight tee shots out of several tight shoots especially from back pins

Play this course as often as I can..... Great staff, excellent course condition, and pace of play usually really good. Course has a variety of long and short, open and narrow holes. Would definitely recommend playing this course.

FIRST TIME PLAYING THIS COURSE WAS VERY SATISFIED, EVEN THOUGHT DIDN'T DO AS WELL AS I WANT IT. BUT WILL PLAY AGAIN.

It's a nice course with some scenic holes. I would play here again.

First of all, the staff member who checked us in was very unfriendly. Granted, it was a rainy day and no one was there but at least show a little love for those of us who showed up to play! The course is very hilly and tight in many spots. Since the greens were so wet, it was hard to get a good read on our putts, but that's to be expected given the weather. Some of the tee boxes were set up so that the pins were barely visible even on short par 4s and even par 3s. The cart paths are the worst I've ever seen and need immediate attention. I've played here on nice days and it is always chsllenging but the rain made it extremely difficult. Ultimately, the great price I got from golfnow brought us in, and I won't be back due to the very unfriendly/grumpy staff and the terrible cart paths.

First off the course was in beautiful shape, but the cart paths need some work. The course needs better yard markers, the 100 yard markers were no where to be found. That being said the course is very hilly and challenging. Lots of trees and hole number 13 was extremely difficult, not much room for error. The front nines pace was fast but on the back nine was a different story. The foursome in front was extremely slow and after waiting for them for about 5 holes they finally let us play through. We still finished 18 holes in 4 hours. We enjoyed this course because it had a lot of variety and challenges.
