Golf Advisor: Top 25 Friendliest Courses in the U.S. (2023 #12)
Reviews
Rolling Green
Course is in good shape, pace was fine and the staff is always very nice. I always like playing here. Some holes u have to really think about placement, like # 7, #9 & 13 or else your in trouble. Greens were in good shape as well and for the price, very reasonable.
Beautiful
Outstanding golf course very well taken care and well maintained
Great way to start a day
Got off at 9a. Course was in great shape. Greens, fairways and rough were all cut and manicured. Only issue was a few cures showed signs of other golfers not repairing ball marks. Common fellow golfers, keep the course nice. Pace of play was great. One slower foursome let us play through and we played the rest of the round at our pace. Staff is friendly as always. Driving range and practice green available.
Fun Layout and Challenge
Really fun layout, plenty of challenging, tree-lined holes. Only 6300+ from the tips but 5 and 18 are long, challenging 4's but plenty of scoring opportunities and some cool Par 3's mixed in. This course makes you hit your spots and hit plenty of different golf shots. Greens rolled true and had some challenging pin locations where being below the hole was important. Pace of play was never an issue. Starter was friendly and helpful. Will play again.
Grass length
No fairways. What should have been the fairway was 2”-3” long
It’s a $20-25 course.
As long as you take it for what it is you won’t be upset. It’s not a $50 course so you get what you pay for. The tee boxes are in bad shape, lots of bare/wet areas and a lot of missed mowing in areas. Greens are slow but in good condition. Pace of play was great and staff was super friendly. Layout isn’t bad, a lot of tight driving holes actually. Overall it’s an average course at best but for $20 it’s a fine place to burn some time with your buddies.
Rolling Greens
It's fall golf. Bring extra balls. Alot of leaves.
Still in great shape
Unlike many courses in the area which are torn up, neglected and almost unplayable, Rolling Greens Golf Club is in great shape right now.
