Fun Course, don’t expect much
Layout is difficult especially in the condition it is in right now, really really wet! But, lots of rain lately is to blame for that.
This has been a staple of my life for 20 years. Used to be able to hit driver right over the dog leg on 9 not anymore !!! Lol.
Love rgcc just don’t expect amazing conditions. Fairways are long rough is longer greens are true but not rolled or fast.
Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Great value. I liked the lockers and showers that were available.
Great local course.
Usually only get to play this course once a season, but it never disappoints. Always a great time when I make it out to Rolling Green.
Great course for a weekday round.
Rolling Green is great value course. Tee boxes and greens were in great shape. Lots of fairly narrow tree lines that demand a bit more accuracy than other comparable courses in the area. Great, old school, local vibe with friendly staff and 1/4lb hotdogs. My only complaint is the pace of play. During the week it wasn’t busy enough to be an issue, but on a Sunday it took just over 5hrs for my buddy and I to play 18. The starters do their best, but the course was inundated with elderly twosomes and beginners taking several tee shots.
Beautiful layout
Staff friendly
Driving range
Tree lined fairways
Dogleg holes
Excellent condition
Rolling Greens
Challenging course, well-taken-care-of with wonderful staff!
Been A Long Time
While the layout needs a lot of practice and local knowledge in order to score well there, the conditions were good and the views were incredible! Fall leaves and a golf course relatively free of them is a great combination. And rolling green's did not disappoint. Unfortunately the greens had been sanded recently. But still putted fairly well. I will look forward to playing that again in the near future.
Tight but fair
Nice layout, well maintained and amazing friendly staff
Golf Now screw up!
I booked this on a hot deal for a friend and I, having previously played the course and enjoying it. We arrived to the course to check in to be told that there was a league teeing off in 45 minutes with 18 groups and that our time could not be honored. There has been no response from Golf Now and there is no way to contact them, it seems, which is why I'm resorting to this review.
