great greens, many challenging holes, great lay out.
like the course, great price for the money. very nice greens.
Last year open
Course is closing ,being sold for housing development
Don’t go to this course
They are doing nothing to maintain the course because they are closing soon.
Brown dried up greens
Tee boxes are really bad. Fairways are decent but the greens themselves are the worse thing. They were suppose to be closed this year due to the city building housing but because of COVID they remained open. At the beginning of the year they didn’t even have carts to ride they were walk only. But back to the green, they are so dried up it’s like putting through the sand. They don’t keep up with maintenance at all. If it wasn’t for the hot deal to golf for 13$ I wouldn’t have played here. It’s high way robbery to charge people $50 on the weekend !!!
Dry weather
I have always enjoyed Playing this course, and am sad it will be closing. This recent dry spell is taking its toll on the greens. Bare spots, cracked surfaces are showing on a number of greens, which were slower than usual. But overall still one of my favorite courses!
Don’t Go!
Not worth the $49 to play. Terrible condition, greens are awful, fairways are dog crap. Honestly it would be in better shape if they let goats run around and eat all the grass.
If you were to make a golf course in your back yard, it would be better than this. Plus you wouldn’t have to waste 4 hours of your life to just laugh every time you get up to a shot.
I can see myself building a house there one day.
An old favorite
One of my favorites, but honestly about the worst condition I’ve seen the course in. Pace of play was super but many bad spots across fairways and even on a few greens. Staff was great as always but the course just wasn’t up to its normal good conditions.
Fairways are in bad shape...
Whether it was the 2-week drought, too much watering at the wrong time or some kind of disease, the fairways are bad.
Rain!!!! Then clear!!!
Just bad
Greens aren’t kept up. No markers for the holes. Fairways are fine. Carts go 4 mph. Just not good.
Will not go back
they wanted to charge me 14$ extra dollars for my girlfriend to ride along with me. saying each golfer lays for a cart when she had no clubs and was doing no golfing. i wont be going back the price for the course isnt near worth it..enjoy your last year brookside.
Nice course to play
East online booking. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Course in good condition. A little slow on back nine. Overall good experience.
