Great conditions
The fairways and tees are over seeded, greens are rolling great. Pace was a little slow but course was packed. Awesome course to play, great layout
A Real Gem
I learned how to play golf on this course shortly after it opened! My father was a cart guy for over 15 years! To this day its overall my favorite course! Staff is awesome and course is always in great shape!
Beautiful layout
What a great day we had, and even after all the weeks of rain in the Sandhills, we were able to take carts on the fairway and enjoy our round of golf. The greens were superb, fast and true.
Good value winter rates
Great place for January golf ! Greens are fast and roll true. Very friendly staff.
Very nice course
Lots of fun to play this course. Not to hard but has some challenging holes.
Fantastic Day
Great course and fantastic weather. The course is in great condition. Really nice layout. The par 3's are my favorite holes. Challenging, but very reasonable if you keep the ball in play.
Just missed
Read the reviews - almost a perfect day - however starter on first tee said they had computer mix up, and had multiple groups at same tee time. Didn't believe that and as a expected, they stuffed the course and the pace was painfully slow. No ranger out to fix it either. Course is fantastic but let's get our act together Legacy!
Worth playing
Overall, it’s a solid golf course. Green speeds are nice and the layout is challenging. Over seeded fairways will make this course enjoyable this winter. Would recommend to all levels of players.
One of my favorites
Legacy is always in great shape & the layout is fantastic. As a local golfer here in Pinehurst & somebody that belongs to another Private club in the area- I still never hesitate bring out of towners over for a round when they visit. I also jump at the chance whenever my local pals get a game together at the Leg'!!! My favorite collection of par 3's in the state- always a great day out at Legacy. Kudos on new bar/grill also!!! JP
Pros: Staff friendliness was really good- they were out of their way to keep it organized. Greens were in GREAT shape. Fairways were okay.
Cons: Pace of play was HORRIBLE!! Ranger came around #8 and stated he knew what group was holding us up, but nothing changed. We waited for EVERY single shot after #8. Tee boxes could use a little love and after hole #6, there were no tee markers beyond the blues.
Legacy Golf Round 3
Great day. Arrived early to enjoy driving range and putting prior to round. Staff welcomed as though I had played there more than 3 times. Great visual course set among houses and woods. Layout was challenging for me however broad fairways and challenging water placement made for an enjoyable day. Greens were fast and fair. Fairways presented opportunities to hit away - but do take caution as they seemed to narrow just where my ball was falling to the ground. Challenging holes, especially 9, 10, 11, 17 and 18. My favorite course to date in NC
