Gilbertsville Golf Club is a public, 27-hole layout in New Hanover Township. The holes are divided into three different nines called the Red, White, and Blue. The nines sprawl across the rolling hills of Montgomery County, which is most apparent on the most challenging of the three, the Blue Course. The Red and White, the club's original 18 holes, have a more traditional layout while the Blue Nine, which was added 30 years later, is more modern with rolling fairways and large, undulating greens. Surprisingly the Blue is the shortest of the three golf courses but it feels longer due to the constant up-and-down. Golfers will encounter a number of tricky lies on this nine and there is also water coming into play on nearly every hole.

Gillbertsville golf course
I have been playing at Gilbertsville golf course more than three years I never had any problem with the staffs, The course always in a good shape. I always enjoyed playing that course.

Great Muni Course
We played the Red/Blue. The course conditions were fantastic from tee to green. The greens were rolling pretty close to country club speed. Reasonable rates, friendly staff, nice views, and wonderful conditions - could not ask for any better on a Saturday. The pace of play was decent. Definitely make Gilbertsville one of your courses on the seasonal rotation.

Not bad for the money
The course was in okay shape, the greens were nice on some holes but not consistent through out the round.

MOTHER'S DAY FUN
We had a great day with our mother as we do every year. The course was practically empty but we were on cart paths only due to the never ending rain. however the greens were very dry and firm. Plus it was very windy to add to the challenge This course is simple and great for beginners. However, their are some interesting holes along the way. Great price and will go back soon on a dry day

Fair conditions at best
It's too early in the season to rap this course too much but it definitely needs some improvements early on '16. Tees were terrible. Greens need to be rolled as they were very bumpy. Cart paths terribly rough. Our cart was in really bad shape. Seats torn and transmission was ready to give up. The staff was friendly as always and the fairways in pretty good shape. You can tell they need to put some capital in this course.

Nice variety of holes.
A nice variety of mild right and left doglegs on the Red and Blue nines. I wouldn't call it hilly, but there are some elevation changes that make it interesting. Greens were in stunning condition for late March in Southeastern Penna., they rolled true and had some nice undulations. The par 5 third hole on the Blue nine was my favorite. Strategically placed fairway bunker makes driving accuracy important. And the green is well bunkered too. You just can't roll on a long second shot to the green for a chance at eagle.

Red to Blue; Course was in good shape for late March
Played the Red and Blue courses. Course was in good shape, greens were quick but there were a lot of unrepaired ball marks(come on fellow golfers, fix you ball marks please). Had a great time as the course was not crowded; almost felt like we were the only 2 on the course at times. Blue is def the more challenging of the two 9s. For the price the Hotdeal was a spectacular deal, and even their regualr rates are on-par with the course. Recommend it to anyone who is looking to play in the area. Staff was great.

Only downside was cart path only
Took to opportunity on a warmer than normal March day to dust off the cobwebs from winter. The course was more than fair, but you could tell that their spring readiness was not completed. Lines leading to the red/blue/white courses were faded and tee boxes were not easily distinguished. Chalk it up to better than normal weather conditions. Overall, it was a pleasant day.

Swampy
The course was underwater to say the least. Even in the fairways, had to walk around carefully not to fill the shoes up with water. Two holes were closed, and temporary signage to get around the detours would have been helpful to someone there for the first time.

Basic municpal course
The course was water logged but playable. A nice challenge for a average player.

fun course for the money
It was December 30th in the Northeast and I was just happy to get in another round this year! Course has been in good shape the past few years and the staff is always very friendly.

This course is ok. The Blue course is the most scenic
Played all 3. It's fall so the course is ok. Cart paths need to be updated

Late Season Golf
Gilbertsville is a flat open course. Greens and fairways were nice. Considering the time of year, remarkably free of leaves! Since there are three nine hole courses, pace of play is usually pretty good. Things were pretty wet however, so I would not recommend this course for days immediately following a good rain. Thanks to Golf Now I got a great rate! Enjoy.

not enough staff, very slow play
under staffed, the foursome in front of us played super slow we waited every shot , every shot!!! Then the group in front had stupidity to come to us on the 14th hole and say we are taking our time because the group in front of them was holding them up but they were clearly one and a half holes in front of them. no ranger to speed them up.

the course had challenging
All 4 of us had a fun time, and we thought the course had variety of challenging holes. Would play the course again.
