Great for beginners. Play early
Overall good course In good condition. Lots of sand on the greens but not all. Played at 900 and pace of play was slow behind a threesome but not terrible. Lots of blind tee shots. Practice range was closed which was a downer.
Will play again. Great course for the price.
Mehhh
Slow slow day at the worst of all mid priced CharlotteCharlotte owned deal
This course is wide open great for not losing balls
Been there many times. Always enjoy myself. Well maintained and great price to play.
Nice Course
Stopped on our way to Florida. It is quite the facility for the residents. Beginner and intermediate players will very much enjoy this course. Half-way house was poor unfortunately.
Affordable course, poor course conditions.
Very reasonable prices and a decent course at best. Conditions were below expectations and was not as enjoyable to play as was hoping. Friendly, helpful staff.
Staff SUCKS
My friends called and added a twosome to my golf now tee time, but when we got there the day of, the staff had no idea what we were talking about, even though they were presumably added just the day before. There was no attempt to reconcile this, as another twosome had booked with us, and the two gentleman that were competent were busy training someone’s grandpa to use a computer. No problem, guess we just got screwed. BUT, when my twosome gets on the course, it’s not busy, and there was nobody else playing with us! How easy would it have been to add my two friends to my twosome? Very, if you’re NOT worried about training some old guy to use your system, and if you recognize the course is slow. There wasn’t a morsel of interest in even attempting to see if there was a mistake, or if there was a way to reconcile with us. “Says here you have another twosome booked at your time, sorry.” If the course wasn’t so fun, I’d never come back, but Charles L Sifford has already lost business with my friends.
As far as the course goes, the layout is great, you have to use every shot in your arsenal, but the pace of play was snail-like. Probably because it’s a course beginners frequent. I’m one too, so that wasn’t a crazy big deal.
TL;DR Fun course, but staff always leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Especially today when they carelessly double booked our tee time, wasting two of my friends’ gas and time.
You get what you pay for.
Late afternoon 9 holes after work for a good price. Nothing special and $20 course conditions. But it’s a good fast 9 holes.
Great place to play!
Friendly and helpful staff. So historically rich! Challenging.
Fun 9 hole
It’s a very short course even from the blues. You won’t use every club in your bag but you have to control your shots. Lots of draws and fades if you can. Green run true and haven’t been punched yet so they were very fast today. Fairways are starting to green up as well. Practice faculties are the best around from what I’ve played.
