Crossings at Grove Park, The

Greens were well kept. Fairway was not so much. No real visible marking for distance.

Had a great time. Clubhouse staff was nice. No food, and limited drink selection, but I attribute that to Covid. For the price, it is a great play in Durham. I would definitely rank it significantly better than Hillendale for the same price. Quick round, we were done ~ 3 hours, and that was with cart path only.

We went on a horrible day. Cold and wet so this isn’t the best review. Starter and other staff were awesome. No other words. Course probably best played in dry conditions and needs a few repairs. (Bridges) Otherwise get ready for a challenging/fun round.

Great place to play with your friends. Staff is great and the course is enjoyable.

The Crossings is one of Durham 's finest courses. It is fair on the front 9, but you will have your work cut out on the back 9 for sure.

I love playing here It’s a fun course.

However, on Friday, on the 10th we had a local resident jumped in from of us and start playing. She destroyed the pace of play and interrupted all of the teams in front of us.

I’ve played here in the past and it was an ok track. Especially if you got a good rate. However, the beat rate on golf now was $49 this past Sunday and the conditions weren’t worth $20....Tee boxes, greens and bunkers were in really rough shape. Understand the bunkers due to COVID, but even they had transformed into wastelands...the greens had so many ball marks, it was like putting through land mines! Golf carts are showing age as well. Ours had a broken brake!!! Good thing we didn’t get past the first tee! Clubhouse staff was not overly friendly and disorganized. Spend your money elsewhere right now.

Hole layout is excellent. Hole number 9 is a REALLY nice (and pleasant) challenge. Rain from the night before took away from what was a nice round of golf. Even so, I highly recommend the course. I will definitely be back because I'd love to play there when the weather and the grounds are dry.
