Narrow
Narrow fairway and soft greens
Very good iron playing course
Unless y’all straight down the middle don’t pull out the driver
Ok course
Course is cheap which the reason I have played multiple times. The condition of the greens was not good. They have lots of rough areas where there is no grass. Pace of play is not regulated at all!! Expect over a 4 hr round.
I think the course layout is awesome very tough, but the condition and pace of play very hard to ignore. Ok course for the money.
This course is great for what you pay
This course is fantastic. Great conditions, semi challenging (I’m a high handicapper) and the food is great too!
Good, but rough greens.
Had a great day playing solo, the fairways were in OK condition, but the greens looked a bit beaten down; divots not being repaired and some green, some brown patches throughout.
Had to skip through a group of two foursomes that were causing some backup, but staff were doing rounds to ensure they were letting people play through and forced them to keep pace, so that was nice to see.
Overall, for the price it's OK, good place to get out and go play.
State of Disrepair
the guys in the clubhouse were friendly and cooked up some great food. The course layout was pretty normal, there were a few notable holes. That’s about all I can say was good about this course. Sand traps looked like they hadn’t been maintained in years, no distance markers anywhere (maybe one 150 post out of 18 holes), tee boxes so hard you’d break 5 tees before finding anything softer than concrete, and lord help me... the greens. I have been golfing well over a decade and these were the WORST greens I’ve ever played. Might as well put the pin in one of their decaying sand traps because that’s what putting felt like. Save your money. There are so many good courses off of 98, don’t bother with this one.
Wow! A Great Day of Golf
The course was in great shape. The staff was friendly and informative. We will be back for sure.
Ok course
I've played the Crossings before, and it's a decent course if you just want to play a no-frills round. While the fairways and greens were in good shape, and the staff is very friendly, there are several things that make it one of my least favorite places to play in the area.
First, there is no driving range (they just don't have room). I planned to go to Falls Village just up the road to hit balls before the round, but their range was closed, so no warm-up today. The putting green is smallish, and if you have more than 2 or 3 golfers on it, you're fighting for cups to putt to. The greens are in good shape as I said, but they are slow. The bunkers can't really be called bunkers. They are very loosely defined flat sandy areas with a bit of course sand in them. Grass grows into them on all sides.
I can live with all that, however, but the worst part for me is the layout of the course. There are several sharp doglegs and hazards that cross the fairways, so you need a yardage book (if they even have them) or a good range finder, and there is a blind shot or two. But there are several shots where the fairway ends because of a hazard right where most people would normally drive the ball, so you have to lay up off the tee, and then you're faced with a fairly long second shot. I can understand that once, but it happens about 4 times and gets annoying. It's just too cramped of a course, and the architect seems to have been hamstrung by it. While I would recommend the course for a casual round, especially for beginners and those just wanting to work on their game, I wouldn't consider it for serious golfers.
Great value course
The course layout is excellent as nice Hills some water and makes it interesting for any level player. Could use more water and get the course in better shape but for the price youCannot beat it. UNC Chapel Hill is four times the money in my opinion not worth it. I think it is priced very fairly for this area and would recommend for beginner to intermediate player but even a scratch golfer would find it fun
Greens were very nice but slow and wet to keep them alive during this heat wave. Much better them getting them burned
Bravo
The course is in fabulous shape. The greens are fantastic, soft and very receptive. They putt on the slower side but are in great shape. Course needs rain so it is super fast fairways. Lots of holes are target golf, driver stays in the bag on a lot of holes. If you want to try something different from driver, wedge, putter, give the course a try.
Great Day
Course is in good shape. Me and a buddy managed to get in 18 holes before the rain started. Pace of play was excellent at 3 hours especially on a Saturday afternoon. This course takes a couple rounds to learn the layout. First time can be frustrating. I have played 4 times and will be back.

Crossings Golf Club is a great find when wanting to play a course with a friendly staff and a great layout in good shape.
Definitely they will see me again!
I look forward to returning soon!
Fun course
Very fun staff was very friendly and welcoming, beautiful views with a lot of water that also makes for intimidating shots. Will be back to play again!
What do we do with Harold
This day of golf was beyond explanation.
Wonder filled and extremely fun and competitive. Vincent.... what a miracle.
Great course!
Only improvement needed would be signage and yardage markets.
