The Crossings
Course was in good shape. Greens were pretty quick but fair. Only issue was the number of ball marks left unrepaired on the greens.
Sometimes it’s not about golf it’s about courtesy
Sometimes it’s not about golf it’s about courtesy. What a lovely day today in terms of the weather and being able to get out and play golf. I don’t mind playing a five ++ hour round but it didn’t need to be a five + hour around today with a foursome in front of us who were constantly at hole behind just didn’t really care about their slow pace of play. They were part of a large group that teed off around 11 AM. This started from the third hole, and their deliberate slow play continue that way the rest of the round. What’s worse is that they play from the tips but couldn’t hit a ball 150 yards straight. Every hole it must’ve been about 7 to 8 shots. I love the fact that America is land of the free and people can do whatever they want, but America is also about common decency don’t you think. If you are a golfer and you’re playing slow, it’s common decency to let the group through or just pick up the pace. I didn’t need to be a five hour around even though the day was a beautiful day. And the Crossing did nothing about this. I guess once they collected their green fees, They could care less. I will not come back to this place and play.
Good local course
Good value for a course I always find challenging. The front house staff is great. I wish the marshals enforced pace of play more. The course is always backed up from one group up ahead. I don’t think I have played a round there in under 5 hours. .
Great greens
Bent grass greens-fantastic!
Fun and challenging layout
Definitely worth a replay
A little slow, but fun layout and good value
We had an 8:50 tee time, but didn’t tee off until 9:02. Good course and good layout. It’s a bit short, but you can’t pull out your driver and bomb it every hole. Wish they had a driving range to warm up. Overall, a good place to play on a Sunday morning!
Crossing the Crossings
Played on a rainy Saturday. Greens were wet but fairways were in great shape. Course layout was very cool lots of elevated and shots down hills. I’ll definitely be back. Greens could have been in better shape but it was just too wet to know.
Great course
Had a great round at this course it was very well maintained and had a great staff that was very professional and nice. Will be going again soon!!
Early Sunday at Crossings
Overall, the course is pretty good. It would be nice if the people playing it were familiar with how to repair a ball-mark on a green. The greens were a bit beat-up.
Cleaning up some of the rough, weeded areas would help speed up play as well.
Crossings is a good course!
I really enjoy The Crossings, and play it frequently. It’s always in good condition and the staff is very friendly.
