About
Opened in 1923, Reading Country Club is one of the area's oldest golf courses. Located less than a half hour from King of Prussia, the course is easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Berks County area. Though it has a traditional layout that doesn't have the length that most modern courses do, that hasn't stopped it from being one of the most challenging public golf courses in Berks County. The rolling terrain provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. The course will test you with lightning fast, undulating greens that are protected by sand traps and there is punishing rough bordering the narrow, tree-lined fairways. Be prepared for uphill shots and blind approaches throughout the golf course. Reading Country Club's par 3s are especially notable for their difficulty.

Lived nearby for 30 years and….
Never played Reading CC. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the layout and condition of the course. Some washout of traps from recent heavy, heavy downpours, but they are working on it. I thought the course was challenging with its hills and valleys coming into play to make shot selection paramount. Greens were in perfect condition with true roll. I am definitely playing here again!
Beautiful conditions / layout / clubhouse
Great course. Got a hot deal on weekend. Little slow on the back but greens and tee boxes were in perfect shape. Would recommend.

Great placement of forward tees
Great placement of the forward tees! Most courses just throw the forward tees a few yards up but the placement at RCC was intentional and welcomed. Traveled over an hour to get there, will definitely be back.

gr8 day to smell the grass
I have played RCC for many years, today was one of the best....did not shoot well, my wife beat me,even though she plays 1000 yds less ( haha)......the course was gr8 the weather was perfect n the pace was fine.......I will be back
100 years young
Course is celebrating its 100th anniversary. It is in terrific shape, although the bunkers could use some work. Old school layout & not very long but a terrific variety of holes .

it was a perfect day and the course conditions were the best is years.....greens a little slow but well maintained ......fairways well cur........bunkers we will leave fo another day (maybe)
