Course is in excellent shape.

Was fortunate to be paired with a visitor playing his first round in RI (a 50 state bucket list tour nearly completed).

We had a great time and was able to photograph his great shot on the island green.

The course was in excellent condition! The rough which in the past has been dreadfully thick to the extent that it was difficult to find your ball was manageable. The greens rolled well although as usual were slow. The staff were also friendly which was an improvement because CCC doesn’t always maintain a consumer friendly atmosphere.

We arrived 30 minutes early and ended up starting 30 minutes after our tee time a full 6 hours of play wow it was crowded. Truly too bad as this is a fun course to play but not fun to wait so much not pleasant and no apologies from anyone !!!! Sad sad sad! !!!!

First time playing here, May 6, 2018, thanks to GolfNow. Unfortunately, there was a local tournament that got cancelled so everyone came over here, hence SLOW play. We left after 16 holes (I can’t stand waiting around). Also, the guy in the pro shop did not seem to be in a customer-friendly mood... just in a mood! As a Sales Leader, stuff like that drives me crazy.

The front 9 is wide open and is very score-able. Back 9 is a lot more challenging.

Will be back when I can get another GolfNow deal.

My son and I played the day after a LOT of rain. It was still soggy, but we felt challenged by the course, which I’d played two years earlier under ideal conditions. Bottom line is that we had a GREAT time playing just the back nine! We’ll be back for certain!

It was my first time using Golfnow, and I was impressed with everything. I had a little problem at first with the site, my fault, but the customer service was excellent. The course was in pretty good shape considering the weather we have had,and I think it will be in excellent shape as the weather warms. Today 's weather was bad, and so was my game, but I look forward to using Golfnow again.

The course was so wet, no one should have been able to play it. It was a waste of time and money.

Playing 2 days after Christmas in southern New England, you can’t expect a lot. But Cranston was in great shape today. Not too soggy and the fairways and greens were in very playable condition. The layout has always been great - save #2. How they keep the course this good so late into December is beyond me.

Course was wet( Can't fight Mother Nature), some fairways were closed to carts. The greens were in good shape, not fast but putted true. The bunkers were not in good shape, hard packed and puddles in some. The rough is thick, which for this layout is correct. The pace of play was slow, but that was due to a lot of older players having to walk to their ball. Nothing wrong with that as we'll all be at that some point in our lives. Contrary to a lot of the bad reviews about the staff from Golfnow players, my foursome was a Golfnow group, we found everyone at Cranston C.C. to be very friendly!

The course was wet as was expected from all the rain but the greens were ridiculously slow. I’ve been playing for 51 years and used to cut greens as a kid. My index is 4.8. These greens were so slow as to be almost unplayable. That said the price of $30 was great and we had fun despite the greens....

They should be ashamed of this course. Staff unfriendly, pace terrible with now rangers and course in atrocious shape. I quit after 13 holes it was so terrible. Plenty of other courses in area - try them instead .

Tee off was 40 minutes behind scheduled start - front nine took 2:45 (back was 2:30 - 5:15 total) - was told the late start was weather related (fog) with a full tee sheet - two groups and occasionally three at every tee - players assistants didn’t seem to focus on the two holes open five holes in front of us - lost part of our group at the turn - great track but the wait sucked most of the fun out of the round.

Over booked this place again. Took 5.5 hours to finishes a game. And some greens were trash.
