Course was in good shape considering the lack of rain and boiling temperatures in RI over the past month. Medium length course, with a fairly standard layout , quite a few doglegs, best hole is the short but intimidAting par 3 9th, which for all practical purposes is an island green.
Plenty of room to hit driver on almost all the par 4’s and 5’s, a number of doglegs but nothing too tricky. Played from the blues, but would love to give it a shot from the blacks as a good drive here under current conditions is getting a ton of roll...

Poor Pace or Play
Booked a 11:04am tee time, showed up early and it was already backed up. Was a slow start, waiting at every tee box. Took 3 hours to play the front 9. Got even slower on the back 9, skipped the 14th hole cause of a very slow three some. Other than that it was a beautiful course and awesome 18 hole course. Highly recommend, but expect to play over 5 hours for 18 holes.

Nothing crazy here- just good layout & conditions from teeboxes-thru the greens. Very happy & will return soon- JP
Challenging, yet attainable
This was a somewhat hilly course with bunkers and water to contend with. Everything was green and the greens themselves were in good shape considering the lack of water lately that has affected some other courses negatively. There was enough challenge to keep you focused without overtaxing one’s abilities. I didn’t get a chance to sample the food in the clubhouse, but judging from the number of people who were enjoying it it must be good.
well conditioned course tees for all abilities
This is one of my favorite courses in Rhode Island. Always in great shape tee boxes, fairways and greens are "tournament ready". Played a weekday round in 4 hours which is excellent for a pubic course.

Unique split between hilly holes on the back 9 and wooded holes on the front 9

A beautiful example of one of the finer courses I have played. Great condition, challenging, and picturesque. I will try to go back.
Lovely Course!
Really nice course! Front 9 wide open, back is very different. Challenging but not crazy. Front 9 greens were corduroy (like a carpet) - very strange? Back 9 were great. Staff friendliness: couldn’t really find anyone to ask when I t off? Island green, par 3 (95 yards) is really cool.
Heat before the Storm!
Got our 18 in before the storm came in later in the afternoon. A hot humid day but the cart girl was around plenty of times for cool drinks and at the turn when I asked for a cup of ice was given it with a smile from the guy at the takeout area. Course is challenging to me but all groups spaced out well so little to no waiting. Check-in was easy and guy in pro shop was pleasant. Overall the course has done well with dealing with the Covid-19 restrictions. Also one of the few courses honoring the cart included on GoflNow! We will be back!

Challenging course when the wind is blowing! Came a foot and half from sinking 1st career Hole in One on 15.. :[
