Great Condition

We love Maggie Valley. They punched the greens a little over a month ago, I think and they are all healed up. With all the rain we've been getting, the course is in beautiful condition.

Maggie Valley Golf course review

Absolutely beautiful course very nice greens with exceptional breaks. I've played for over 40 years and i played it all the way back. Incredible layout if you like elevation changes and mountain views. Some of the elevation changes are at least two clubs. This adds to the challenge. Shot 49/38 due to refusing to take drops on 3. I was having a Tin Cup moment. I can't wait to come back and play it again. It is so worth the time.

Fun Course!!

We had a good time and the pace of play was excellent. The course was not in great shape but in fairness they had been pounded by rain for several days so it wasn’t their fault. We were very lucky to just get a round in. There were a number of very beautiful holes on the back and we really enjoyed ourselves. I lost my watch there. Hopefully some honest golfer finds it and turns it in. Would recommend.

Fun course; great value for the price

We had not been to Maggie Valley in over 30 years, but the golf course and amenities have only gotten better. The views were spectacular and the golf course was in great shape.

Great Course!

I enjoyed every minute of playing golf at this course. The front 9 is the valley portion of the course. The holes are well laid out and challenging but not overwhelming. The back 9 is the mountain course. The holes were again, well laid out with the added benefit of some amazing views. I enjoyed this course so much that I came back the next day and played it again.

Maggie Valley Golf Course

Course was in great shape! Tee boxes, fairways and greens were wonderful. The staff was extra nice and they even had cart going around the course selling drinks and hotdogs! Best course I’ve played all year. Will definitely go back and play soon . Views of the mountains were beautiful.

Very picturesque. Fun course with a lot of hills.

Unfortunately, the greens were just recently aerated so they were bumpier than normal.

Solid operation, every hole is unique, back 9 has some great terrain challenges

Well staffed course, Widely attended (busy). Our Mid May round was notable in that the greens had recently been punched. Probably explains why the GN rate was much lower than normal. Staff was nice, Cart lady nice and the course was in decent shape (minus the putting surface). Some older aspects of the design remain (dis used water fountains) while classic touches like ball scrubbers at each tee and fully loaded (tech wise) carts were offered. Each hole is quite unique and the back 9 really embraces the mountain valley setting. This course is a great value under $60 a round, but once it breaks $100 per person it starts to lose its appeal.

Not a good course. Waste of money

Terrible conditions, greens we're about as accurate as putting on a fairway. Very crappy greens. Tee boxes were not level. Staff was friendly at first, then continued to charge me 36$ for a rider fee, on top of a 80$ greens fee. Absolutely terrible. Will not be coming back. Not worth the money

Very Nice Course

Beautiful course layout. This is a favorite in this area. The greens had been plugged recently but still rolled well. Somewhat hilly on the back nine with some shorter holes, but quite a bit of elevation changes. Staff was excellent and the lunch at the restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced
