Can't say anything negative about this course but it could be better..

Greens were still bumpy from aeration..

Layout and pace of play was back and forth..

Had a good time..

Golfers should be warned when booking if the greens have recently been punched and sanded. It's unfair to pay full price to play in these conditions.

The back nine layout is pretty weird. Not much fun, especially first time there.

Would not play here again.

The greens were plugged and freshly sanded. This made every green pretty unplayable which is fine when you know what to expect but they failed to alert anyone on golf now. I was embarrassed to invite a client to play golf here and give it such great review to them and then find out that no putts could even get in the hole because it was like putting on gravel.

I love this course but the greens were unplayable. I understand that course maintenance must be done but the greens were like putting on a washboard. Golf Now needs to immediately implement some way to let people know about situations like this before people spend money to play in these conditions.

Greens had been punched and sanded recently. Putting was impossible. Chipping also.

The course gave no warning and charged full fees. Shame on them.

The rest of the course was ok.

It should have to be noted on Golf Now that greens have just been punched so you know this prior to arriving at the course!! Was not happy finding out that they had punched them within the last week when we got there!!

I checked in for my tee time. After observing I booked through golf now they informed me my wife would have to pay a ride along fee. Even though I was sent out as a single, they insisted it was policy. They charged a whopping $25 for her to ride. After I paid, they then informed me that we would have to play the front 9 twice since they were aerating the back 9. Nothing on their website, golfnow, or even any signs in the clubhouse. I would have walked away, but they now had me financially committed. The course was ok, needs some maintenance - down tree, weeds, multiple grasses in the fairway. Pace of play was slow. I was behind a 4 and a 2. No ranger - the 3 staff members were busy counting my $25 in the pro shop, and I got to spend lots of time enjoying the front 9 siince the 4 some were making sure every shot got their full attention and numerous practice swings. If I hadn't booked through GN, I woulda saved 4.5 hours and saved a few bucks.

We very much enjoyed our game of golf here at Maggie Valley. The views around the course are simply stunning and the course itself is meticulously kept. If ever in the area again, we would 100% golf here again.

Front 9 in the Valley and straightforward. You will score well if not greedy. Back 9 another story. In the mountains you need to strategize on every teebox. Off the fairway the rough will penalize you with a stoke since grass is too high to get a good stroke onto the green. Overall very pretty. Date I played was cart path only leading to 4.5 hour round but we didn’t wait very long at lost tee boxes. Course was very FULL. .

Great Mountain course and staff. Weather was perfect and we know it is one of the top 2-3 in the area. Well maintained and fast greens!
