150 Yard Markers
Today was the first day opening since the re work of the greens. The Tee Boxes and Fairways were very, very nice. The greens were nice - most of all they rolled true.
I like that they have the 150 Yard Marker / Posts as I am old school and rely on sight and feel rather than gps or shooting the distance.
I would like to see the concrete markers in the fairway raised flush with the fairway so they are easily seen and some of the cart path strips repainted.
Burned out
The Greens are gone at the Divide...its too bad because it's a great track!
Should Close And Fix Greens
The greens are basically not puttable. There’s so much garbage growing on every green, you feel like your putting a field. Hole #4 in the picture was nothing but dirt.
We were very disappointed.
The conditions for this course are usually good but the heavy rains and summer heat destroyed the greens. I would only play during the week with cheaper prices. The weekend $55 is too high for these conditions.
Course was in good shape, green were a little bumpy. But definitely a good time
Decent Track
Due heavy rains the days before the greens nor the fairways were cut. It played long and greens were very slow and grainy. Pace of play was average as course was booked solid.
Completely Unreasonable
So I have probably played this course 50x and today was by far the worst experience I've had. We had a foursome and pace of play was fine and the course was i decent shape. To the young gentleman who was about 24 in the clubhouse , we came out to support our local businesses and spend our money locally instead of going to a better course. When wr are all supposed to be sheltering at home, we decided to play a round. You were completely rude and made our experience less than it could have been. We understand that local businesses are struggling during this hard time and wanted to support the community. You have a lot to learn about customer care and you definitely lack people skills. This will probably be the last time wr play at your course.
Good Deal
I play here regularly and I found the course pretty open with plenty challenges, while playing trying to stay out of water hazards, bunkers and brush. Course was in decent condition, some of the greens were bumpy and needed some TLC but other than that all else was good to excellent!
Great public course for your money
Played here for the 1st time and I found the course pretty open with plenty challenges, keeps the beginner praying while playing trying to stay out of water hazards, bunkers and brush. Course was in good condition, some of the greens were bumpy and needed some TLC but other than that all else was good to excellent!
WORK
The course has a great layout but the staff needs to focus on TEE boxes and greens, lots of tee boxes are bare of grass an greens are in pretty rough shape. Cars had no sand in the bottles.
Follow up review..play somewhere else.
I reviewed this course last year and am sad to say not much has changed. Great course layout with so much potential. I played it again yesterday and it is still not good. Many tee boxes do not have grass. The rough hasn't been cut in weeks. Where they did cut the rough, there are huge clumps of grass everywhere where they waited too long to cut. The greens are very inconsistent. Some bent grass, some Bermuda grass, #3 & #4, hardly any grass at all. Sprinkler heads are leaking on many holes and they smell bad. The par 3's have sand buckets on the tee boxes, but there is no sand in them. The carts have containers for sand to fix divots, yet the 2 carts in our group had no sand in them. If someone was trying to help conditions, this course doesn't make it easy. The sand traps are in horrendous condition and most havent been raked. The clubhouse doesn't have air conditioning in the bar area so it's about 100 degrees in there.
I don't get it! Such potential, but year after year...this place just gets worse. Has anyone that runs this place gone out on the course to see how bad it is? Check out #7, once the best par 3 in the area, now a cesspool of overgrown weeds and algae.
Please...please, someone who reads these reviews that run the course, STEP IT UP! I will keep playing other courses to play in the area. Try Emerald Lake or Eagle chase if you are out this way. Olde Sycamore is nice also, but a little pricey. Red Bridge is nice also, but a little farther out.
A shame it has not been taken care of
Played there for the first time and I will not return. Fairways were dormant but also nearly bare. Greens were full of Poa Annua and so bumpy you couldn't get a putt roll true. They also had quite a few bare spots which made it difficult to putt. Additionally the bunkers have not been taken care of and obviously no one who plays there knows how to rake a bunker. The times anyone in our group ended up in a bunker was either in a footprint or unraked area, Doubtful we will ever return. It is a good layout that is just not taken care of.
Rough shape
We play on a perfect day a friend recommended
The tee boxes are uneven and dirt instead of grass
The fairway lots of rough bare spots
The greens are hit and miss some are good but mostly bad ,the ground s around the greens were hard no grass could not chip clean without bouncing of the hard ground .
Need improvements is lees than average to say generously
