Last minute pick, glad I did.
Brandon at the desk was great, very friendly and professional. The course was fair and a lot of fun. It was also In great condition, greens rolled smooth. Had fun on the E bike and the rental clubs were a great set.
First Time Playing
One of the better public courses in the Upstate area but needs better conditioning in several of the fairways. Several areas of bare spots, pot holes, rough terrain etc. More so on the front nine than the back nine. Lots of blind shots and up and down side lies. Definitely mountain style golf. Greens were in great shape and ran true. The driving range with the Trackman devices is the hi-lite of the course. "Top Golf" experience while hitting balls to warm up. Clearly cost a ton of money to create this experience which is great, but some additional capital should be put into course conditioning. Better conditioning would dramatically improve the golf experience. I'd play again.

I’ve lived in Anderson most my life. This is probably the best public course in upstate SC.
Very Hilly Course
I only played the front nine holes, which are very hilly. This fact made it difficult to control the ball rollout on several holes. I found the 5th Hole green to be borderline unfair with the pin position during my round. The pin placement was in the front of the green, downhill from the back of the green with a huge drop off in front of the green.
Great Course
Conditions are good but will be very good in a month. Great amenities.
No play
Staff was friendly and honest. We had a 232 tee time but they had a school tournament going on guy at pro shop said he could get us out in about an hour but it would probably take 3 to 3 and a half hours to get thru the front 9. So we had to cut our losses and go somewhere else probably gonna try to go back next week
Course was great but due to the manager booking tee times every 4 minutes, and then not showing up to work that day, we was nearly 45 min late teeing off. Only got worse considering over 4 hrs into the round we still was only on hole 14, so we decided to call it their and head to the club house. Course in good shape but whoever booked tees that day should be fired
