The Landing at Pleasant Point
About
Playing just 6,642 yards from the tips, The Landing at Pleasant Point is a pleasing play for all level of golfer, making it one of the most popular golf courses in the Hilton Head region.
A Russell Breeden design, The Landing at Pleasant Point features rolling fairways and spectacular views. One of its main draws, however, is its price tag: It's one of the most affordable golf courses in the area.
Normally in good condition, it's a golf course that will reward accuracy and punish shots of folly; it's not too hard though, with a moderate 130 slope rating from the tips.
Nature lovers will enjoy the wildlife on the golf course. You'll see plenty of critters wandering about, and perhaps even deer or alligators.

Good Value Course
A decent course for a beginner golfer. Fairways were a bit dry, but par for the course for this time of year. Greens and tee boxes were in decent shape. Would recommend playing if you're looking for an afternoon of golf for a good price.
Great Golfing Value
TGC at Pleasant Point is a great golfing value. Although the course has some rough areas, the lay-out requires making some accurate shots rather than just blasting away. The staff was very friendly and helped make the experience worthwhile.
GOOD GOLF FOR THE MONEY
For the money this is a very good golf course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in better than average shape for the time of year. I will definitely play this course again.
Lady's Island
First time playing the course. The greens were ok some bare spots and played slow.
Leisurely Round with Wildlife
Scenic marshes with lots of opportunities to see Low Country wildlife. Staff friendly with a number of water hazards. Early season play found short, dry fairways with greens in good, playable shape.
Fairways
Fairways no grass, greens were alright but need work. Need to put work into the course
Nice design, terrible shape
If your staying on HHI and want an affordable round you may want to stay clear of here. Golf now states 15 miles from HH but that may be as the crow flies. Took us over an hour to get there. Decided to play it because I had my son who is a beginner, and the rates were right, also because of the reviews. The place was dead, which was great for pace of play. The conditions were as bad as I have seen at a golf course. You would have to look for a decent place to hit from, even from the fairways. Maybe better in the summer months. Greens were in decent shape but dried out. I think I'd rather spend a few mor $ and play closer to HH.
Well treated
We are from Canada and we enjoy the Fripp Island area, We always play Pleasant Point TGC, this time around we had our grandson with us, he is 10 and eager to learn to play golf, we were given an extra cart and the service was great, will play there again no problem. Couple of nice big Gators on the course and lots of scenery including flyovers by the air force.
Top Notch Staff
The course is in winter condition(no overseed), but very playable. The greens are firm and fast. The bunkers are in good shape. The best thing about this course is the staff. Very friendly, very nice, and very accommodating. They make you feel like this is your home course.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
I've played this course about 4 times and each time I go it just seems so get worse and worse. I understand that it's the off-season but come on. Half of the tee boxes are half sand. The grass was as brown as I've ever seen it. Every single green had patches of dirt where grass had died off. When we arrived and I went in to let them know I had scheduled a tee time, the guy at the front desk said " we would rather you NOT use Golf Now because we don't make any money." In the condition that the course is in, I am GLAD to have booked through GolfNow with a HOTDEAL and not wasted anymore money in that place. Poor management is all I have left to say. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!
Winter golf.
Pretty yellow on the fairways, but all the greens were in good shape. Nice place for some winter time golf.
Welcome to the swamp
Not a bad course, but I was not a fan. Maybe I have been spoiled by the other courses in the Hilton Head/Beaufort area. Staff was very friendly. Fairways and rough were not very well maintained, greens had some bad spots too. Would only play this course again if it was my only option. Not trying to bash this course, but there are just better options in the area. It also didn't help that I was stuck behind a foursome that was obnoxiously slow.
Great course
This course has only been open for two years from what we learned. The greens (with the exception of a few) were in great condition. Fairways were good but the grass around some of the greens needed some time to grow in.
Overall this is a very good golf course and well worth the time to play.
We travelled from Hilton Head Island which was just over an hours drive.
Gem off Island
It was good to find TGC. The rain prior to our playing made the course green and lush. The course is owned by the residents for the last 3 years. It is great to see the pride in the people who are in clubhouse. They make you feel welcome. We will be returning for sure!!!
Hidden Gem
True southern golf course , from the mossey oaks to the deer and alligators this course has it all . Constant improvements are having results , fairways green and very playable , greens coming in nicely and the rough is a challenge . will play again !
Wildlife abound
We played this course on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only people out. Course had a lot of crab grass and tall grass, but the bunkers were soft and obviously kept up. There was wildlife every where, from gators to deer. Which is something you like playing in South Carolina. Overall it was a good time. Beautiful course.
