Slow greens
Good course one of my favorite s but slow greens and have lost one
Great day for golf
One of my favorite courses
The course was in great condition
Staff was friendly and professional
Pace was a little slow, but still finished in 4.25 hours
Good price
Played Links O Tryon today and thought it was a good value for the price. $36 for a Saturday afternoon round is a pretty good price for this course. It’s in OK shape. The fairways were pretty full. Not a lot of difference in fairway and rough. The tees were ok. Some were a heavily sanded to try to get some grass to grow in I think. The greens were ok. A little slow and grainy for my liking. A couple had bad spots that had been resodded. Hole 5 maybe it was very noticeable. The layout is an attempt at linksish. The front is pretty wide open and not a lot of trouble. The back 9 is much more challenging. With a good deal of water in play. Some forced carries and tighter with several doglegs. Overall, it’s price right in the area and a fun layout to play.

Great course layout! Challenging but fair. Tee boxes and a couple greens poor. Overall good value for the price.
Nice little course
Im only 15 minutes away and not sure why I dont play here more often. Not a huge course but its a challenging course. Lots of dog leg holes. Greens could be rolled a little more. Some greens need work but overall I love this course every time I play here. I will be back!

Friendly folks,organized and ranger present. Comfortable less than 4 hour round. Conditions hard and fast. - Interesting layout. Will be back.

Nicest and most accommodating pro shop staff in the upstate. Pace of play for a mid-week PM round was pretty slow.

My best friends favorite course
Try to play here a couple times per year. My Best friends favorite course. I like the lay out and the staff is very friendly. Seems like #5 green has had issues a few times we have played here including today. Greens seemed a little hard. We have had a good bit of rain around here lately so I’m sure they have been really wet last few weeks. Good place to play.

Wasn’t as expected
So many people had hyped this course up so much to me, I was a bit disappointed once I finally made there to play. I’ve played worse courses for more money so I was happy overall with the Hot Deal price. Don’t misunderstand, it is a good course, just other people had me believing it was much better than what I experienced.
