Great choice if your in the area
Not a true links style course. Maintained conditions. Easy layout, you don't have to draw or fade any shots. Not much scenery. Not much up and down elevation. Pretty mundane course but the conditions are really well. They try to make it feel like a Scottish course, and the clubhouse is pretty neat to see. Good course overall, worth about $35 at most.
2nd time on the course
Greens were a just little slow but in very good condition, needed cutting. The fairways were in great condition and never had to wait on groups in front of us nor pushed from behind, in fact never saw a group in front or behind us on the same hole.
Will play again when in the area !
Great Upstate golf course
Had a great time at Links O’ Tryon! It is a really fun layout that’s tough but fair. A few holes that take the driver out of your hand, but there’s a risk/reward calculation on each. Everything looked green when I played, my only complaint is that everything was slow. Pace of play was slow, the greens were slow, and the fairways were slow. Everything was green and lush, but the greens and fairways were a bit shaggy. Overall I like the course and I’d definitely go back — maybe on a different day than Saturday.
Players course
Love this course. I say it is a players course because tour not hitting driver off all par4 and par5 tees. Only bad thing about this course is the cart paths, they are TERRIBLE. The course seemed to be well taken cared of and maintained. I will go back to this golf course.
Solid
L o’ T provides a good test under
decent conditions. Fairways are excellent, tee boxes ok, and greens in good shape albeit a tad slow. Compared to other public courses we’ve played - Broadmoor, Cummings Cove, Etowah, L o’ T is superior.
Third person cancelled
My third person cancelled and I was NOT aware of your policy. I just read it now. I know this is my fault but I was wondering about a refund. First time. First and last mistake.
Comfortable
I played the Links today first time ⛳ this beautiful course. Only negative was being unable to play the back nine due to airigating the back. Definately will make another booking to play this course again.
