Fun Day of Golf
I highly recommend Links of Tryon. We enjoyed our round very much. Very friendly staff got us off to a great start. A few holes had some very wet spots and one of our players lost a ball in the fairway muck.. The greens were all in great shape and were very puttable. The views of the nearby mountains add to the beauty of the course. Will play again soon.
Seniors and Ladies Will Enjoy Tryon from Forwardd Tees
I played this course last August and enjoyed it very much. My opinion remains the same - fun and fair course from the forward tees. At a total of 5079 yards from the red tees, it's FAIR because there isn't any hole where I (or my playing partners) felt we didn't have a chance to make par. And it's FUN because there are a variety of holes.
Also, we have had record rain in SC this May and of the four courses I have played in the last two weeks, Links O' Tryon was in great shape. It was the first course where there was no issue with standing water (and this on a day where we had a few rain showers while playing). So either they were lucky and didn't get a lot of the torrential rain or they have great drainage on the course. Either was it was a pleasant surprise.
It is also a very pretty course and worth the drive from Greenville.
Beautiful Setting
This course is located in an absolutely beautiful setting. The condition of the course was not bad but did leave a little bit to be desired. Overall, I would have to say that Links O’ Tryon is a good value for the money. I will definitely consider playing there again also.
This course was in great condition.
The fairways were in grear shape. Able to get a good strike on the ball after drive.
Nice Venue
Our foursome was excited to try this tract for the first time. We have put it on our list to play routinely. Course was both challenging and forgiving.
We had unseasonably nice weather day and totally enjoyed the experience. The “Hot Deal” made it even more enjoyable- thanks Golf Now for listing the course thus broadening our options moving forward
Not too wett
Overall conditions were very good considering how much rain this year.The greens were bumpy but still very fast.You cant beat it for$26 after 2pm.
