Links O'Tryon

I have not played this course for more than a year due to me moving to the Charlotte metro area. The fairways and the greens are still in great shape. There are still 4 -5 holes that can ballon your score. I recommend this course as one still worth playing. I look to coming back in the Spring to give it another go at it.

I have always enjoyed Links O’Tryon but after this last round I have to admit I was impressed with the course even more.

The Greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were plush.

Looking forward to playing this Fall while the leaves are changing.

Some of the mountain range views are excellent. Classic links design.

My son and I really enjoyed the layout. It has some terrific holes. Greens could of been faster but well groomed. Only negative was finding the course, no signs off of I 26.

In better shape than many area public courses. Good layout with elevation changes, water and holes bending both ways. Greens were very healthy, but slow

Course was pretty good shape for no rain. Starter was great. And ranger helped with slow play. Nice to have a drink girl riding around too. Enjoyable day

Very interesting course. Will test you, for sure. Some easy holes, some . . . Not so much!! For an average golfer, this one will test you.

The course was in great shape. Will return, will recommend.

Course in very good condition. Requires the use of many different clubs. Several par 4 holes require iron tee shots from the white tees with sharp dogleg fairways.

My 1st time playing and required careful club selection on many holes. Great layout with some easily managed holes followed by tee position demanding holes.

Staff was super ... very friendly and welcoming !

I have loved playing this course. Very good course for the average golfer. I have two complaints: (1). the cart paths are awful and are in desperate need of repair.and (2) they paired our twosome with a couple (man and wife) who did not know how to play. They were just beginners and it was an excruciating 9 holes. We had to let others play through. Thankfully they quit after 9 holes. We will go back but only if we have a foursome.

From the very beginning in the Pro shop . . . the staff was very friendly and helpful . . . beautiful course which will become a regular course on our golf in South & North Carolina and Georgia ...... great vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains , , , , can't wait to take more of our friends from the North to a beautiful upstate golf course

In excellent shape lots of doglegs if u hit ur irons good can score very well here. Was impressed with the shape of fairways and greens will definitely be back

It has been a little while since I have been here but wasn’t disappointed. Starter and Grounds crew guys were super friendly. Tee to Green course was in GREAT shape. We played our round in 3 hours. After the round enjoyed some lunch in the clubhouse. I would recommend and go back!!

It was unusual weather for August in South Carolina - overcast, windy and 67 degrees! The wind was an advantage on some holes and a disadvantage on other holes but overall it did not impact the ability to have fun and score!

The course was in great shape and the course had a variety of layouts for the holes (doglegs, some w/water, some downhill, some up hill). One tip: on 10 if you hit a good tee shot over the hill it will roll down and you have an easy shot over the water to the green.

The staff is great and the club house is very nice. I will definitely play again.

Course was in excellent condition. Loved the course and will return.
