Fort Mill Golf Club

One of my favorite courses now. Fun track and very tranquil. Greens are perfect and roll true but quick.

This first time playing this course in 10years, mainly because you cannot book singles on GolfNow. Overall the course was in great shape, greens were immaculate; albeit a bit slow for my liking. The course itself was good shape tee-green. This is very tough course even from the whites it plays 6300 yards. Tough because most of greens are elevated and if have not played this course you be club short. Front and back are complete different. Front wide open fairways but not bump and run as bunkers front most greens. Back is tighter but you can bump and run. The par 3's are all tough only one is under 170 yds from the whites. Staff is great .

Meticulously kept, very well managed, love the service, great time.

He was very familiar with the golf course.

Fairways were great,never caught a bad lie.

Did catch one greenside bunker, this course has the best sand I have played in the area.

Greens were rolling fair. Most surfaces were smooth and true.

Overall will definitely play this course again.

The front 9 (Donald Ross design) is outstanding. It has typical Ross feel-generous driving areas and challenging green complexes. The Cobb 9 is also very goof but I don't feel it is quite as good as the front. Course conditions were great. It was a little slow paced of play than I would expect on a Thursday morning. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Course was dried out a bit, and the location of the tee boxes seemed like it was in drier sections. Like they choose the bad areas? Greens were in great shape, especially after being aerated last week. Some confusion over the tee time, since our time was changed by golf now about 2 hours after we booked it. The group that took our original time then never showed up.

Back 9 was closer and aerated greens were covered with a heavy sand. Aeration was advertised but not the closure of the back 9 which is the best part of the course. Would have preferred to know that so I could only play 9 instead of playing the front a second time

Biggest crowd I've seen on a golf course all year!

I thought there was an outing going on.

I guess they're getting Springfield overflow?

Too hot weather for playing golf today.

But so many players on the course.. Pretty good pace and

good condition especially green.

Thanks GolfNow for offering such a low price to play 18 holes that even after I quit after #9, 'cause of the oppressive heat, I still got my money's worth.

I'll return to Fort Mill after this terrible heat wave!

I was a Leroy Springs member last year but discontinued because Springfield was always in bad shape.

This year I asked, "Why is Fort Mill so nice since they're less than ten minutes from Springfield?"

I WAS 100% CORRECT in complaining!

Springfield is now shut down while Fort Mill is in wonderful condition.

GolfNow is a much better membership for me

Love this place, usually give it 5 stars but this go around the greens were REALLY slow. 3 put from 30 feet all day long. Rest of the course is pretty good condition.

Course wasn’t in that bad of shape some of the greens were in a little rough condition. Got the tee time on a hot deal probably wouldn’t pay full rack price to play there

Was very excited to play this course for the first time. Many considered this course as top tier among Springfield in the area but nope, no where near Springfield. There were few fairways that doesn't look like it's been maintained, half of the fairway was rough or dead. Few holes that had tee box next to each others. I got lost few times trying to find the next hole with no sign indicating where the next hole is! There was one guy working going back and forth from concession to pro shop. Love the course layout though! Definitely not worth a money imo.

My father and I played 36 holes in a day and was very pleased with the course. Course layout plays open with areas that can give you trouble if you miss your target line. Fun course that I would consider being a member of. I would recommend to anyone!
