First time this year I had three birdies in one round

Why aren't you watering? Course is bone dry. Even the sod you laid across #18 fairway a few weeks ago has died. It was never watered. Many dead/ brown spots on tees & fairways. Winter was tough, but, NOW is the time to resprig or sod winter killed areas. What are you waiting for? NOTHING is being done about the dead areas. I NEVER see maintenance crews fixing dead areas. #18 green has at least 25 old hole positions still visible. Does anyone there know how to change a cup properly? I'll play somewhere else until this course improves.

Not worth $50. Tees and fairways are hardpan with spotty grass. The whole course seemed to need water and weed killer. Greens were better but crusty with some dead areas on a few holes

Get rid of the old hole ghosts all over the greens and they would be perfect after the two days in a row of rain

One of my favorite places to play. Greens will keep you honest and fairways are in pretty good shape. Staff is fantastic as always.

This would be a great course if it was in better shape and they charged far less. To pay $55 for tee boxes and fairways devoid of grass is ridiculous. We literally saw dirt fly up in the air several times when our balls landed in the fairway.

Compared to other courses in the area this is a terrible deal.

Had a 9:56 tee time but it was stacked up pretty bad so we didn’t tee off until 10:30. No big deal. Course layout is great but conditions were not very good, especially for $60. A lot of dirt patches in fairways. But the real kicker for us was the marshall. He came by as we were finishing hole 12 and told us we need to pick up the pace. So I look around and the group behind us hasn’t even teed off yet. So I say “what are you talking about, they aren’t on us and haven’t had to wait once?!” He said the hole in front of us was clear and they go by tee time not that they aren’t on you rear. So I say “ok, well we teed off 35 minutes late!!” So that put a real sour taste in my mouth. So unprofessional and inappropriate. For that reason alone I probably won’t play there again. Add in the poor condition and $60 price and I think you could find better deals.

Speed of play was very slow due to the high number of players. Course needs to recover from the dry winter. Most greens were in good shape. Speed of greens varied by hole, probably due to lack of rolling and cutting since winter. This should improve and has not been our experience in the past.

Hole #2 has a temporary green so I can't lose a ball in the lake!

Grass starting to show some color - finally!

Staff was friendly, but course was expensive for what it was. Course was in fair condition but nothing special. I've seen online prices higher than what I paid and I definitely wouldn't pay 50-60 dollars to pay here as is. Pace of play was very slow as well. Too many other courses, in much better condition, for a lot less money around Charlotte.

The layout of Fort Mill Is a great track have always loved the design. The condition of course was not so good. I know it’s early spring and grass really isn’t growing to good yet, but for 58 bucks you think it would be in much better shape than what it is. The sister courses are in much better condition than Fort Mill.

Enjoyed course. Layout of back 9 was a little tricked up for my taste with several blind shots. Greens were small and requires accurate approach shot. Would recommend. Pace of play was excellent with 18 holes in under 4 hours and course was busy.
