Fort Mill Golf Club

Aside from the treatment of of the greens (plugs), the course was in great shape. A little slow at times but able to get 18 in under four hours.

We were not informed that it was Front Nine Only when we booked our Tee Times and the pace of play was good until we had someone inserted in front of us on the second nine.

This was my first time playing Fort Mill golf club I was impressed with course layout and conditions. Overall enjoyable round of golf.

Enjoyable experience, $40 hot deal was super value.

Course was in excellent condition, fairways and greens were pretty much immaculate. One negative which I guess wasn’t the fault of the GC was that the 4ball ahead of us were a little slow and wouldn’t let our 2ball play through.

Aside from that, really good value for $40.

We had a great time. Wonderful people and staff. Challenging but fair course. Great shape. Greens were very nice and fast. I can recommend Fort Mill GC to everyone. I will be back if the opportunity presents itself. Go check her out yourself!

Our front 9 pace on a beautiful Sunday evening was very slow, and we finished our 8th hole about 2 hours into our tee time. We wanted to place an order at the snack bar at 620pm as they have signage up to do so, but after the phone ringing for minutes while we waited for our tee shots a lady answered the phone and said she was already closed up and wouldn’t be taking any more orders. She said she was supposed to be gone by 630pm and thus needed to leave. I think it’s very poor form to not allow people to purchase things when you know they’ll still be on the course for another hour or two. At the very least there could be some signage that advertised that the shop would be closed so early in the evening.

Course very challenging. Some holes were right layout. Greens were very fast and hard to read.

This course has everything you are looking for. Great clubhouse set up, practice facilities had plenty of room, and the course was in great shape. Will definitely be playing here again.

Was excited to play the beautiful course. Understood after the rain that the carts would be Cary path only but was told by the ranger on the start of the back 9 that we were 20 minutes behind pace and need to speed up. We were fine with that but the ranger proceeded to slowly follow us for 2 holes to make sure we were on pace as we’d have to stay on the cart path and walk back and forth across as quickly as we could but this ruined my experience

The course was not in a condition to charge $75 for the round. Had rain during the week but nothing that would completely saturate the course. A lot of mud in areas I would imagine be flush with fairway grass in the late spring. Greens were rolling super fast and simple chips would run off the other side making it difficult to even be close to the hole. But they didn’t punch yet. I’ll give them another go in late spring once everything is grown in.
