The Golf Club at Star Fort sits near the site of a Revolutionary battle known as the Assault at Star Fort. The golf course offers a family-friendly layout surrounded by the region's rich history. The player-friendly design is gentle enough for junior players and beginners, but it's also great for more advanced players who are looking for a quick round. It will surprise you with a few challenges too. At 6,952 yards, the golf course isn't terribly long but there are still some good driving holes. There are some interesting risk-reward par 5s and some fun par 3s that will make you think. Star Fort's final hole is a par 4 that requires accuracy over distance since you'll have to weave through two ponds before facing an uphill shot to a well bunkered green.

Great course nicely maintained
Course continues to get better with every round. Very friendly and helpful staff.
In great shape
Course is in great shape. Pace of play was slow today due to a 4some that must have been playing for high stakes. Not the establishments fault though. Some players were running carts close to the greens and on par 3s off the cart paths. Again not the establishments fault. Some players need to show more respect for the course and other players.

Great Course
I played this course a few years against before it changed ownership. This course has come a long way! Great layout, greens were well maintained.
Long
Other reviews talk about the cart paths being bad, which is true but this is a nice layout except the par 4s. They are just a little too long from the white tees. I think the yardage from the white tees is over 6500 yards. If you are a long hitter you should be ok. I am looking forward to playing here again after I figure my driver out.lol
Nice Country Course
Good Course at a good price with some challenging holes. Drains well after substantial rain in the area.
Challenging course
The greens were just starting to wake up from the winter. They were rolling good.
Very nice/soft sand in the bunkers.

Cart paths will knock a filling out. Only bad part of the course.
It was slow due to a group of 7 players playing together. There was no ranger. It was a twosome in front of us. And I was playing as a twosome. We followed them from the first tee box, it wasn't until the eighth Tee box tha they allowed the two twosome to play through....
Rain out
Unfortunately it started raining a little to hard to play. Never hit a ball.
1st time I’ve ever paid to play and never hit a ball.☹️☹️☹️
Value for the money at 1 star because I didn’t get to play. Couldn’t put anything else since I pretty much gave the money away.

Really enjoy playing this course, difficult but very fun to play. Fairways are top notch, greens are always in good condition !! Highly recommend !
