The Golf Club at Star Fort sits near the site of a Revolutionary battle known as the Assault at Star Fort. The golf course offers a family-friendly layout surrounded by the region's rich history. The player-friendly design is gentle enough for junior players and beginners, but it's also great for more advanced players who are looking for a quick round. It will surprise you with a few challenges too. At 6,952 yards, the golf course isn't terribly long but there are still some good driving holes. There are some interesting risk-reward par 5s and some fun par 3s that will make you think. Star Fort's final hole is a par 4 that requires accuracy over distance since you'll have to weave through two ponds before facing an uphill shot to a well bunkered green.

Great challenging course
This course has better than average fairways and greens. Great layout. Some holes are long and straight and some are challenging with the chance of risk and reward shots. I'll definitely play it again as I continue to try and improve.
Good value
My only complaint with this course would be the cart paths are in rough shape. Everything else is in very good shape. Considering it had been several weeks since we had seen any rain in the area before we played the course was not baked out and greens were still soft.
Course in good shape
No complaints about the actual course! Weather had been hot and dry, but the course especially the greens were in great shape and rolled really well.
Cart paths are in rough shape, but other than that good experience. Will come play here again.

Good course. I live close by so I play it a good bit.
Pace is a little slow sometimes. Groups of 5 tend to do that.
All in all, course stays in pretty good condition.
Greens all roll pretty true. Not too fast, not too slow. Pretty consistent on every hole.
Maybe just an off day.
Nice greens, nice fairways, and fluffy sand in the bunkers but some areas surrounding greens were poorly maintained. Had a 0730 tee time but the clubhouse didn't open until 0740. Kept running into workers mowing greens and holding up my pace. Won't return.

The course is in good shape. Not many playing today. Cart paths are miserable and most really bad spaces we got off the cart paths. I thought the speed of greens was not consistent but they were in good condition. Traps were great.

Extremely nice course for the price. Staff was extremely professional and the course was in absolutely excellent condition. Haven't played the course in about 3 years. It was like night and day from the last time I played it. GPS on the (gas) carts made it a very comfortable round to play. Thinking about going back in two days!!!!!!

Course is fun to play. Plenty of tees to choose from. Not an abundance of water, fairways and greens are in great shape. A good value even without using a hot deal.
Hidden gem
Course is in excellent condition. Friendly staff. Great value.
Loved it.
All my local courses were full till afternoon play so I got up early and drove 1:15 minutes to this nice test of golf on a Saturday morning. 16 of the 18 greens were in wonderful shape. The other were just a lil crispy on the edges. Food and beverages at the 19th hole hit were delicious. I would come back again.
