Waterford Golf Club

The staff was friendly, the hot dog was fine,. The cart path had a lot of potholes and broken places. Most of the tee boxes were quite bare, and a few of the greens were in pretty bad shape. The whole course looked like it needed some rain. I do like the layout, and a couple of holes are very challenging. All in all, not a bad value for the money, but I won't be playing again anytime soon.

Was looking forward to this course after reading the positive reviews but fairways looked like they haven’t seen water in a month. Played with a single that had been on the course in the past and was also surprised of the poor course conditions.

Manageable course that provides some challenges. Too many blind tee shots making it harder to know when safe to tee off. Fairway grass pretty thin and needs some work. Friendly staff and good pace of play. Would recommend.

If it was't for weeds and clover, nothing except the greens (which were good) would be other than dirt. Tees could not be inserted without brute force.

On the plus side, so dry ball rolled forever.

Greens are nice and it's obvious they are continually improving. Light patchy spots on a few greens, but still a smooth roll. Some tee boxes need improvement/leveling, but still nice overall. Interesting variety of looks/shots from the tee box. I'll definitely play here again.

I really like how this course was laid out. Most of the fairways had woods on both sides and you couldn't even see the next fairway, like each hole was on it's own piece of property. Beautiful layout using allot of property. The cart paths took you through some nice trails with bridges to the next tee box that seemed totally isolated from the last hole, really nice place to play.

Plays well, challenging without being too hard. Improvements are noticeable. A little more expensive than a few other local courses, but not too bad.

We liked the course. The price was great. The only complaint was it seemed kind of wet/muddy and it hasn't really rained. Over watering maybe? I'll be back though.

Course was a little soggy from all the rain. But it was in excellent condition . Both fairways and greens were in great condition

I hadn't played here in several years. I read a review that said "Most Improved course in 2015" so had to see what they were talking about. The course was in great condition! You will use every club in your bag. Many opportunities to shape the ball. Greens are fast but fair with many challenges. I will definitely make an effort to return now that I have some course knowledge.

I played in a golf tournament on 10/31/2015 and had an enjoyable day. The staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive to all of our needs. We were treeted like royalty. The course was in good shape considering all of the rain we have had. The greens were FAST! We had such a fantastic time that we booked next years tournament at Waterford!!

Played here approx. 15 months ago about the time it was going through a change in management. What a difference since then! Greens are in excellent condition and moderately challenging, bunkers were playable and the fairways are in good shape. The tee-boxes are average at best and in need of some work but not too bad. Cart paths still need some work. Overall, course conditions were very good. I will definitely be back.

The last time I played this course was three or four years ago and I promised to never go back. I heard the new company took over an improved a lot. Well, they were right. The greens were perfect. The fairways were in great condition. A few of the tea boxes need some work but overall I was extremely satisfied.

The greens at this course are very good. I think they need more signage because there is a lot of blind shots. The hotdogs at the clubhouse were very good.

I played Waterford Golf Course today (10/13/2015) and had a great experience. My group entered the pro shop and were immediately greeted by the attendant. During the check-in process he told us about several membership options and ended up selling our group Queen City Passports which will give us discounts when we return. The golf course was in great shape (considering being wet from all of the rain lately). I especially enjoyed the greens which rolled very smooth. Pace of play was good (4 hours 15 min.) considering carts were on the path due to the wetness of the course. The price was right, the staff was friendly and I am definitely coming back!! I would recommend this course to all skill levels of golfers.

My only concern is the course was very wet. The dew was unavoidable, but watering may have been not needed. That being said, this is the most well maintained course I have played this year. Greens were Greene with no dry brown patches and so were tee boxes. I will definitely play this course again.
