Had to walk front 9 because no carts were available, and staff didn’t care. Back 9 had a cart that belonged in a junkyard. Course is in terrible shape, even realizing the time of year. It’s obvious that the Ownership does not care about the course or the facility.
Really sad condition
The first thing I noticed about this course is a lack of signage on the parking lot concerning where to go to check-in. Then the pro shop has little merchandise, but that's okay; it's off-season and I don't really buy much from the shop anyway. The most annoying and possibly dangerous thing about Pinetuck is the dilapidated and defective condition of their golf carts. The course has a basically interesing and appealing lay-out, but the course maintenance is sadly lacking. The greens haven't been rolled in a long time and are rife with undulations and irregularities. Granted, this is December, but conditions at Pinetuck left a lot to be desired.
Dont ruin your day...
Play only... ONLY if you can get a round for less than 8 dollars ... thats how much it is worth......

Shame
Course layout is nice but super run down. Carts are indescribable. People are very friendly so it’s a real pity but you just can’t enjoy it. Needs a lot work and money spent on it.
Worst place I’ve ever golfed in my life
This place is horrendous. I didn’t even know which hole I was on without keeping my score. No proper signage on almost all of the holes. Tee boxes were nasty, greens were terrible and patched, the cart paths were really bumpy along with major potholes all over. Really poorly maintained golf course. Would never recommend it to anyone nor will I ever be going there
Not today...
Course maintenence not up to PAR for my taste.
I never even got past the pro Shop.
I Forfeited my green fee's and found another course to play.
My worst I’ve Experience
Filthy carts ! One cart’s battery died on the first hole and the second on died on the seventh.
The guys maintaining the greens make you wait until they were totally finish their task while the operated with no urgency. Not enjoyable at all!
No Course or Cart Maintenance
My son and I played this course before but this was the first time in 2020. The greens here used to be very good. Excessive rain must have caused a mold/rotting however on about 50 percent of the greens. I always judge a course on how many maintenance workers I see. There were none on the course. Also, their golf carts were dirty and in poor condition. Several cart paths had been washed away with temporary crossings. I would only recommend this course because of the layout not on conditiion.. Overall a 2.5 rating is generous.
Not worth 35 dollars!
Course I’ve played many times, and fully aware it’s a course you play to practice with out spending $60+. However today the fairways looked like they hadn’t been cut in over a week, and the greens are completely dead, diseased and not puttable. The fact they are charging 35 dollars right now for a course that shouldn’t be open was mind blowing.
Tough times
I am sure it was a great course at one time and it is a great layout. It was like going to a place that is going under. It reminded me of an old Municipal course. Everything needs work. The greens were fast but in terrible shape. The fairways were like rough and the rough was deep. I had a hard time finding the pro shop. Nothing was marked including the course. No tee signs or directions. It was packed with play which was shocking. Tough times have hit it and something special will have to happen to restore it.
