This course has an excellent links style layout that I really enjoy playing, if they would do something about the bunkers being a little too solid at times i wouldn't have a reason to go anywhere else!

We had a great time playing the course. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The course was challenging but not overly difficult. As an average golfer it was both challenging and fun. Nice wide fairways with lots of bunkers and a few water hazards. I would definitely recommend this course for a great day of golf.

For the most part the course was in decent shape. The greens had been punched around 5 weeks ago. I don't know why they haven't been rolled recently but they were very bumpy. A ball could not roll true on these greens. This is a very nice course when it is taken care of. I don't know why we can't have sand in the sand traps!

Course is in the good condition with the troubled greens being the best I have seen them in years. No sand in traps so it's best to avoid them or take a no penalty hazard drop out of them. Pace of play still keeps the avid golfer away due to no marshaling. This is a fun course challenging course and can easily be played in 3 1/2 hours so 5 1/2 hours is unacceptable. 2 groups in front of us quit after 6 holes because of the POP.

No SAND in the traps! For all you blabber base b******* who are going to say don't go in this and, shut up! I know this. It has been years since we had sand in those traps.

We had a 3 some so that meant to carts for 3 men. The singles cart died .

12 or 13 of The greens were in terrible shape. We had to stop after nine holes and get a cart. The battery was dying we were pushing the cart up in the small bumps or hills. I don't pay this kind of money to push a battery operated golf cart around the course. The condition the course is in right now as well as the issues with the carts I would not recommend people to go to this course. If they can fix these issues everything else was good. The fairways were mowed and clean, they look very nice.

I love this coarse, played all the time when I lived here. The corse condition is in bad shape due to the heat however a little money and maintenance would go a long way to keep this coarse in great shape. Secondly the carts will not make it through 18 holes without failing due to worn out batteries and age of carts. The money they charge is too much for these type of conditions, please $55 dollars on the weekend is rediculous!

I've played this course quite a few times. It is always hit or miss with the staff. The guy who works the booth at the first tee is not very friendly. The people at the bar are nice and really I've had no problems with the people in the pro shop. I like the course and it's close to home so that makes it nice and fast. The price is just ok. Overall I will surely play here again and again because of the convenience.

I have played this course quite a few times and really like it. I would love it if they made a couple changes though. The sand is horrible. It's like hitting off of brown concrete. The greens come and go as they do everywhere and right now there are a lot of weeds. My biggest pet peeve though is the guy who usually mans the booth at the first tee check in. He is rude and obviously hates his job, but should that be my fault? No. They need to replace him. Other than that I love playing here.

Good course. I always golf this course about 7 times a month. Golf carts are a little slow and sometimes the greens are not the best of shape. Over all I rate this course 7 out of 10.

Have played course for many years and has struggled in the summers. But the course is in great shape, greens are pretty fast. Pace of play was perfect!

This course is a pleasure to play when the pace of is good sometimes it very slow but it is great cours in this area

Overall-3- The design, value and facilities are all very good. The condition of the course is mostly above average, but the few remaining greens in bad shape and the inconsistent bunkers limit my overall rating to average.

Pace-5- Sunday midday and the course was ours. We never had anyone in front or behind for a nice leisurely sub 3.5 hour pace.

Course conditions-3- Tees, fairways and rough are all lush and if anything a tad on the long side. Occasional areas of divot damage on tees and fairways but never anything terrible. The green appearance all over the course is a welcome respite to the brown areas that most Valley courses have this time of year. Bunkers were hit and miss with some being waterlogged, some being hard pan and many that were recently worked and very playable. The greens, which had been lost and were completely gone over the last few years have mostly returned. Roughly 2/3rds were in very good shape and the others were poor at best. (Why not all of them have returned is unknown but certainly they are headed in the right direction.) All were running at medium to slow speeds, which is not bad with all the tiers and slopes.

Staff-3- Friendly and helpful, I had limited interaction so I cannot comment and/or rate in depth.

Value-4- We had a hot deal so the price was fantastic for a weekend round.

Layout-4- Very good layout and design. Holes encompassed; long, short, left, right, wide, narrow, big greens, small greens. The mix of holes allowed for varying strategies and the chance to use many different clubs. Technically not a links so rather than have a semantic debate lets just say that for Valley public courses the design is well above average.

Amenities-4- Practice areas and bar/grill/banquet areas were ample and in good condition.

This course will easily garner four stars once the rest of the greens and the bunkers have been bought up to par.
