Great course especially for a public track.

Staff is 50/50. The good is really good the bad is real bad. If they would start a member program that assigned member teams in charge of divot repair on 3 or 4 greens it would be another star for the course. Just a suggestion.

Charged $15 each for my daughters to ride and look at dead grass and hairy greens. The starter made me go back to clubhouse to pay for them. Course is hard up to milk you for anything they can get. Cashier in the clubhouse didn’t say a word when I expressed my frustration. He could careless. He was young and inexperienced. Had a manager been on site, I would have given them an earful.

Got lucky and teed off a bit earlier than my formal tee time. Playing alone, I sailed around the course in three hours. Everything was A-1 except for my golfing skills.

In the past greens has been spotty this year great effort to keep greens playable and consistent.

Best public course in Bakersfield. Greens weren't the best, but playable.

A little bit of sand in the bunkers and a marshall on the course would go a long way here!

I'm not sure if it's under new management or what, but the course gets worse every time I play here yet the price keeps going up. I want to like this course so much cause it's a nice layout and in the middle of town. It's just not that nice and charging 35+ on a week day with not ideal course conditions

Enjoyable round with three colorful and fun players. Their local knowledge helped a lot and the hospitality was a big bonus.

Nice Course... Good Conditions & very good pace of play

Great layout but not a walkable course. The fairways and roughs were inconsistent and really show signs of prolonged drought like many inland California courses. However, the greens were in great shapes. I would definitely play again.

I was the first one out at 6:30am as a single and it was my first time playing this course. It took me 2 hours and 15 mins as a single! Great pace when you can keep it in play n there’s no one in front of you ! I asked the pro shop staff what I could expect and she replied “target golf 101”.... she was absolutely right ! the course has great character and the greens were multi tiered and I doubt there’s a flat lie which makes every putt count! Unfortunately two thirds of the greens had severe issues but I’m sure the ground crew will have them rolling true in a few weeks. As for the target golf ... I left the driver in the bag, played from the black tees and teed off with my 3 wood (I hit it about 250 on average). I’ll definitely play this course again next time I’m in town visiting the in laws.
