I actually played this course for the first time on Thursday the 24th. It was so much fun! I came back on Monday the 29th... don't sleep on this one it's a great course and awesome value!
The greens were a little slower than usual...letting the grass grow to fill in the low growing areas.
Riverlakes
Lots of trouble to get into. Course in really good condition. Greens running at about 11. Same condition as last year.
Challenge
This golf course has not been this great to play, for the last three years. The Greens are the best in a long while. Thanks to the groundskeeper crew.
With the unique challenge this course brings, for the money is great.
This course has updated practice facility.
This course has been a very good challenge, in the golf community. The other courses in the area lack the beautiful greens. The chipping/ pitching area are great for the, honing of these skills.
A cute little par 3 area is always fun, can't beat the price. 5.00
The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

I love this Course. In really good shape now. Fairways are lush and greens trimmed just right. Putting is actually fun. This Course can get a little pricey so you have to watch for specials. I highly recommend this Course . If uou can hit irons accurately you will really enjoy this Course.
Nice greens
The greens and bunkers we nice. The front 9 was being punch. So we played the back 9 twice. I hope the fairways we dormant, because they were thin in some places.
Great Course, Great Day!
Played River Sunday. Was a beautiful day and great time. Course is in great shape. Greens are rolling great. The guy who starts you out informed us that they are currently doing some renovations to the bunkers near the greens which is great. That has been our only complaint since we have been playing here. Luckly, I didn't hit into any but my playing partner did and he said it was good. Played in 4 1/2 hours.
Needs pace of play managment
Our five some was being held up by two and foursomes ahead. Need to manage course etiquette and tee offs. This is a regular problem at this course. 5 hours to play a round of golf.
Low budget management
The greens are in good condition. No sand in the traps, so why have them? Too poor to put any sand in the traps! The brakes don't hold on the carts so if you're on any kind of a hill you're in trouble. No Marshalls on the course whatsoever! A 5 hour round is not what I paid for. The practice Tee's are very little grass but plenty of mud. But I'll give it to them the practice sand traps have no sand either! Even when we called the clubhouse and asked for someone to help with slow play, we got no help!

Good shape. Unfortunately there was a backup on the back nine and we had to wait too long in between shots.
The greens were pretty fast.
The overall condition of the course was great, as with other courses in the area, the fairways are a little brown.
The greens were in great shape, since changing the turf growth. They were a little bit fast for the average player.
Pace too slow
The pace of play (5 hrs) basically ruin the day for me. Love the course one of the best in town. But way too many people on the course to keep any reasonable pace of play.
