Golf and Views
If you are looking to play a course with up and downhill lies, as well as side hill lies then this is your course. I enjoyed the much different golfing experience from the Charlotte courses I usually play without much elevation changes. Loved the greens too. Looking forward to play this track in the summer.
Layout
Enjoyed the course layout. Challenging! Very well maintained and great people.
Good course for the value.
I think this course has gotten better over time. You can see they are trying hard to improve what the have. Greens are always nice. Not too tricked up. Could have been a little faster. Impossible to walk though.
Challenging course
We played the course twice and enjoyed it. No way you could walk it in the mountains.
Nice course
I have played here several times now. The greens were in very good shape and usually are. The course is pretty tight with a good bit of elevation change. It's not an easy golf course but it is fun to play. Worth the drive although it is not close to anything. We played on a HOT DEAL from golf now for $10 each.
NASTY TO GOLF NOW PLAYERS
If you are a Golf Now Player Carol will treat you NASTY!! Even with printed reservations, I still had to call Golf Now to prove it! But the course is beautiful!
Shot Makers course
This course was a welcome and pleasant change from the courses we normally play in the area. A lot of elevation changes and not every par 4 and 5 is a "grip it and rip it" Driver from the tee. Course conditions were also pretty good with greens in excellent shape.
hard greens
hard greens and blind holes and a lot of dog legs
Great value and scenic vistas
The course is in great shape especially the greens -
challgening course
challaging course lots of elevation change
Good value
Course is in good shape for the hot summer months we have had. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Greens a little slow but still very nice for the heat. Many doglegs on the course.
Good Lake Keowee Course
This course isn't near much but if you are in the Seneca area it is worth a trip to check out. Good value for the greens fee charged.
Looking Up
My title reflects the fact that nearly every hole plays to an uphill fairway or green. This course has a lot of blind shots, so it's not easy for a first timer. I found the greens to be very slow as well. This is a one and done for me.
Great course
Great course for the money. Has a lot of doglegs so make sure you know how long you hit each club. Greens are in good condition for the hot weather we have been having. Would recommend this course to anyone passing thru or staying for a weekend like my wife and I were done.
GREAT COURSE
My wife and I played the course for the first time. The price was very fair for a course of this caliper. 'The fairways and greens were in excellent shape, The only drawback we could find was there weren't enough yardage markers located on the fairways , so not having a gps or range marker made judging didtance to the hazards and holes difficult. we would definatley play this course again.
Worth the drive..
Only 4 miles off I 85 exit 1..Greens excellent condition and very difficult. Course very narrow and hilly. must work the ball left and right to score. Straight balls will be in the woods. Short but placement is a must. A real gem.
