Weekday Hot Golf
Nice round of 18 with my son. Got out before lunch but the 2nd 9 was pretty hot. Had a nice time. Course is decent but dated. Would certainly go back for the money paid.
Excellent Value!
The course is a great value especially for beginner and intermediate golfers! The course conditions, layout, and pace are decent/fair but they exceed the price. The staff is great! It does lack amenities but if you’re just focused on getting out and playing I highly recommend It!
Average
Greens are bad due to aerating and sand added. Fairways are good.
Maybe the worst course ever played
This course is in awful condition, will never return. The worst fairways I have ever seen. Course is/has been neglected.
Nice layout but that’s all
Best I’ve seen it look
This is the third time that I’ve played here and this was absolutely the best I’ve seen it look. The greens were in great shape but you need jackhammers on some of the tee boxes. Pace of play was beautiful, I was only able to play nine but I will definitely be back. Did not like the extra $3 per golfer charge for individual carts (at least that’s what the owner told me)
The was easy to navigate
The course was a great course to play but some of the greens need a little work, and better food selection, another than that I enjoyed playing there can wait for June to come I want see what it look like
little gem of a course
It’s not Bushwood CC. - No gophers and no Ted Knight, but some Chevy Chase and some fun golf. Normally pretty open so a casual pace.
Good value
Have played this course many times. Given the heat and drought lately, was pleasantly surprised at how good the greens were. Overall the conditions were better than in the past. The fees are low so it is worth the money.
What happened
Played the course in late fall and it was great. Played today early summer and it was completely different. Fairways were scalped and greens were bare. Trees down in the fairway Not the same course I played earlier. Very disappointed.
Price too high
Other than that, the conditions were not good. Starting with the tee boxes, they were dry as a rock. You could barely put a tee in the ground. The greens were way to bumpy to the point where I did not know hard to hit the ball. This should be a $15-20 course at that on a prime Sunday morning.
No improvement!
The greens were nice and in decent condition but the rest of the course starting on the driving range is in terrible shape. They're obviously not putting any money into this place. There is no defined fairways and patches of grass and weeds all mixed together all over the course. Not really much else to be said. 10 minutes away there's a course in similar condition you can play all day long for a flat $10. Discourse is not worth anything above 20 dollars.
Round of Golf and new people
Very nice weather for mid March. Much rain recently but course was in very playable condition. First 9 holes with two people new to the course (they also used GolfNow booking). Final 9 holes with just my booked twosome. Great day of golf.
