Rough Course
Greens are terrible, tee-boxes not kept cut, and same goes for the fairways. There was sand in the bunkers at-least. This course is rough but if you have no game and want to drink beers as well as not spend $70 on a round I guess this is the place for you.
Problem with greens
Some greens were very ruff. I gave up on them. I needed to play my long and short game but I hope when I play again they will be in better condition.
Great Local Course
This is a fairly forgiving course, ideal for newer players like my wife and me. It certainly has it's challenges, but we're improving while not donating excessive amounts of balls to water hazards or heavily wooded fairways, as has been the case on some other area courses. Hot dogs, burgers, BBQ and cold beer available at the turn... can't beat it! These features, along with the friendly staff make it an easy choice for our "go-to" local course.
This course is not worthy of public support.
This course(must be going through bankruptcy. there is nothing good
to report about..
Unimpressive
Very VERY bad greens - bad design and in bad shape.
I think I would've enjoyed the course if it was in playable condition.
It was so bad, I think I'll wait not one month but two before going back.
I found it funny how two guys asked how long the wait was and the cashier said it was very crowded - THEY WERE ON DECK!!!
Fair.
Good price for what you get. Fairways could be much nicer but good place to drink cold ones with the boys
Stay away.
This is by far the worst course I have played since I moved down here. I have nothing good to say about this course. Stay away at all costs.
Good Course Fun Time!
I like this course, no real delays, good looking course! Greens a bit slow, but very good condition. Hole 18 is the toughest to me. Friendly staff!
Not bad for the price
Greens were very fluffy, but in decent shape. Fairways were a little lacking but certainly not bad for the price we paid. For the money I would play it again, but for more than 25.00 dollars it needs some love to warrant any higher price.
Improvement made
My last review kind of bashed this course but they have made some good improvements in the course conditions. Fairways were nice even tho still hard but greens were in good shape as well. Really enjoyed my round
Mediocre
Relaxing atmosphere playing golf out in the country, but conditions were fair at best. Very patchy fairways, greens were ok but very slow. Course needs work but a fair value I suppose if you get a discounted rate.
nice layout
the greens had not been cut for some time so that was not good but other than that it is a nice course
Spring Lake
I will typically play here on fridays because its close to home and normally not too busy. I truly wish this course was in better shape than it is because it has great potential if some money was sunk into it. But in all honesty the course conditions are horrible. Seems like little to no effort is put into giving the course the basics of what it needs. Tee boxes are hard as a rock or bare in some cases and greens are dry most of the time and look dead. No definitive fairway just shorter grass than the rest of the hayfield you're hitting into. There are much better deals around the area for what they are asking for 18 holes.
DO NOT PLAY
Fairways overrun with weeds, bunkers are mud pits, greens were in terrible condition! I paid $25 for 18 and this was high for the condition of this course. Hands down the worst course I've ever played. I will end this review on a good note though. I actually like the guys in the "club house" good ol boys.
Most unfriendly experience in a clubhouse
Did not understand how to help a handicap golfer, rude! Complained about our hot deal price being too low? Did not know we were coming. Won't be back. No information about hole at tee box area, could go on.
