Great course and great value for the money.
I play this course a lot, and today it was nearly perfect. The fairways are beautiful and the greens are in great shape. Every shot I hit had great grass under it which really helps with the shots.
All in all the course is great.
Challenging but fun
The green are still growing in after Aeration but did not really affect play. Roughs were think, fairways well groom.

Great course
This is my second time playing the course and I love it. Staff goes above and beyond. The value is unbelievable.
Hidden Gem
This is a short course but a fun round. We played the week after the hurricane so there was some flooding damage to bunkers and the cart path. Bugs weren’t that bad. We played our round in 3 hours and found the holes challenging at times and some a little easier. The staff is the friendliest in town. And the value can’t be beat.
Drivers and wedges
The front 9 is really short but the back is much longer. They have a 250 yd par 3 which does not match the rest of the course considering they have a lot of <325 par 4s. Greens are good and fast and around the greens are well kept. I played in the AM and had no issue with bugs. Not a bad course for a casual round.
Nice course
Out of the city, and very well kept course. The greens are well groomed and are hard to read. Very challenging and fun. Everyone can enjoy this course.
Best public greens for the money in the area
Great green complexes that roll well. Tees and fairways leave a little to be desired, but wouldn't keep me from playing multiple times again.

Great layout. Greens fast and fun to putt on. Fairways need a little work.

This course let me know where my game is truly at. And what I need to work on.... Beautiful layout and peaceful... Remember this course is in a wooded area, so always bring repellent...... you will enjoy your round with it or without... Plus the food is wonderful.....
Killer gnats and mosquitos
Unable to finish playing due to the swarms of gnats and mosquitos. So bad the maintenance crew was wearing surgeon's mask. In your ears, nose, and eyes. Unplayable until we have a couple of dry weeks. Morning round, could be a little better after noon. Couldn't say.

The course was in good shape and the staff was very friendly.
Greens are in Excellent Condition
Always a fun and challenging course to play! Staff is excellent!...can't wait to play again!
Golf course with no real fairways
Had such a bad experience with fairways on the course. It’s either hard rock or soft mud every where. Hope spring weather makes a difference
Lots of work to get ready for the season
Greens rolled fine and the fringe is in decent shape. Fairways are all dirt tracks. Staff was aerating while I was playing today so at least they’re working on it. Course looks like it’s had a lot of standing water. Layout isn’t the problem, it’s just not currently playable. There was a grand total of two people playing the course if that’s any indication. I wish everyone at Forest Hill the best, but the course has a long way to go.
