Golf course with no real fairways
Had such a bad experience with fairways on the course. It’s either hard rock or soft mud every where. Hope spring weather makes a difference
Lots of work to get ready for the season
Greens rolled fine and the fringe is in decent shape. Fairways are all dirt tracks. Staff was aerating while I was playing today so at least they’re working on it. Course looks like it’s had a lot of standing water. Layout isn’t the problem, it’s just not currently playable. There was a grand total of two people playing the course if that’s any indication. I wish everyone at Forest Hill the best, but the course has a long way to go.
Hot deals start too late.
Love the course and the staff. Really a top notch group. I would like to see the only Hot Deal on this course moved up. The Hot Deal starts at 2:04 PM and it gets dark at about five. That is only three hours to finish the round.
Improved conditions
I play this course on a regular basis and I have never seen it in such great condition. Tee boxes are mowed to the correct height, the rough has been mowed so you can expect to find your ball, and the fairways and approaches to the greens are very good. The greens here have always been well maintained. I look forward to another round here.
Good run
The course was in good shape and the people working there were really friendly and the course was in good shape. It was well worth the money.
Great course on rolling hills
It is a challenge course on a rolling hills. The green is very tricky too. I enjoy playing every hole.
Golfer's paradise
If you're a true golf addict then you will love this course. It's in the middle of nowhere but it is one of the coolest layouts I have ever played.
They obviously don't have a huge budget or anything, so there are some dead spots, iffy tee boxes here and there, etc. But the greens are perfect and for the most part it's in great shape.
It's one of those courses that you will never forget
Early spring
Very nice layout, cart path is a little rough. Course still in winter coditions. Would recommend to any one.

The course is fun to play. The fairways are tight with enough water to make it challenging.

I always enjoy playing Forest Hill. The course if challenging and the greens are very difficult. I would say I play this course more than any other course in the area.

I love this course. Greens are in excellent condition even in late November.
Wow!
A true hidden gem! Just a wonderful trip through the woods and hills, great layout. Varied and interesting holes, condition of fairways and greens even in Nov was outstanding. Nothing fancy, no gps in the carts
but it all adds to the relaxed friendly atmosphere.
If you are in the area don't miss this one! To top if off the greens fees are the lowest I've seen for quite a while.
Nice greens
Greens are in great shape as advertised. Course layout didn't blow me away and is a little confusing if you aren't familiar with it, though the par threes are a lot of fun.
