Sporty layout in excellent condition
Lambert Acres is a fairly easy layout which is always in good shape. It is also very affordable. I play here often for those reasons.
Decent all-around course but confusing to navigate
None of the holes were marked. Some of the trails led nowhere. Our pace of play was slowed due to constant deliberation as to where the next tee box was located. Twas overall a nice course that could be made better with 27 simple tee box signs.
excellent layout
A very fair course... Most avg. To good golfers should score well.
Good course
Good course overall, staff was nice. Greens seemed to have been aerated recently.
Greens
Greens in very bad shape lots of brown dead spots also fairways not in good shape either lots of brown places you hit a drive in the fairway and you would be laying in a brown spots I've played this course many times worst conditions I've ever seen there this course has always been one of my favorites to play only live 2:5 miles away
A Gem In The Smokies
Great scenery, 3 unique 9 hole layouts, greens punched but rolled true. Bunkers could use some work but no rocks like other area courses. Great pace of play, under 3 hours. A good little Couse for golfers of all skill levels.
SLOW
Pace of play was much too slow. The course is packing too many players on the course and does not do a good job of pairing up players. Singles & Threesomes as well as 2 Twosomes end up separating their tee times causing play to bog down for no reason. First tee box had 6 carts on it. Not uncommon to have 4 groups on a par 5, or 3 groups on a par 4. Pack a lunch... you'll thank me later.
One of Blount County's best courses
Course was in best shape of the three blount county golf courses played recently. Good to see money being put back into the golf course for improvements.
Always enjoyable to play, beautiful setting in the foot of the mountains.
Felt like I was a member
It was our first time playing here, but we were treated great and fealt right at home! Can't wait to go back! The course was in great condition! We played and enjoyed all 27 holes!
Excellent Round
These guys are friendly, accomodating, and the fairways and greens were in good shape.
Worth your time and money
Lambert acres is set perfectly in front of the smokey mountains which give you this picturesque backdrop. The course is well maintained and the staff is very friendly.

Great Layout and Good Conditioning
I have played Lambert one time earlier this season and it was just as enjoyable as this time. The greens are in good condition, fairways are nice, and the layout of the orange course is really pleasing to the eye. The white and red have a good layout as well but for me the orange-9 is beautiful. The pace of play never was an issue for both of my outings as we got there early and only began to run into golfers lacking etiquette later on toward the end of our play on the red. This course is welcoming to all golfers and allows folks to wear whatever apparel they are comfortable in, but it does appear that may attract some folks without proper understanding of what is appropriate behavior on the course. We had 2 instances of people playing from our fairway that were not concerned with our groups shots. It was minor but does create some frustration when etiquette isn't utilized. I love the layout, staff is friendly, and the course is not overly difficult but will challenge the golfer that gets off line.
Great round
Had a great round. Weather was perfect. Course conditions was excellent. Round was fast pace but relaxing the way we like to play.We will play again soon.
Nice Course
This coures is in the best shape it in years lots of inprovements nice place to play
Good course, bad fellow golfers
I enjoy playing Lambert Acres, and if you can hit the ball straight off the tee you have a shot at putting up some low numbers. The course was in great shape especially the greens. The biggest problem with the course is the people that play there. We played 18 holes and it took nearly 5 hours and on top of that there were three groups we encountered several times throughout the day that were loud and rude. Two of the groups had women in them that constantly yelled WOOOOOOOO!!!! at the top of their lungs. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I have encountered this problem there. The rangers really need to say something yet they do not. So in closing this course is nice and a good value however if golf etiquette is important to you it would be best if you skipped this track.
Beautiful views of the Smokies
First time I played, and it was a great course . It plays wide open,so very enjoyable . It's hilly and has great views of the mountains
A few issues
This is my first time playing this course and I have a really mixed opinion of it. I usually play every Saturday, and have played the majority of the public and private courses surrounding Knoxville. My playing partner and I usually play the back tees and each carry a 7 handicap. With that in mind, we teed off before 7a and a ranger came to us on hole 6, told us we needed to pick up our pace, and proceeded to drive around the edge of the green looking for golf balls in water. We actually had to wait for him to get out of the way before hitting our approach shot!!! Nonetheless, we made the turn at 1hr 38 min. At the clubhouse we were directed to the red course because "we were running behind" on our round time and a group just went off on the white course. We got behind a group on the red course that we had to wait for, and it took us over 3 hours to play it. I actually like to read my putts and try to score, but felt very rushed on the front despite no one ever having to wait for us. Closest group was a full hole back. The course was in really good shape, and the price was reasonable to good, however, due to the above issues, we won't be returning.
A Rainy Round
First time I've played this course in many years. I will be back. From tees to fairways to greens, the course is in excellent condition. It handled the rain well. Challenging yet forgiving to the average golfer. A pleasure to play!
