Management/Ownership is a joke
The course itself is decent for the price but the management/ownership is horrible and they know it and do not care. First off all, they don’t actually do tee times so don’t waste your money getting one on Golf Now. Secondly, they do not have a clue how to start groups off, or manage a busy golf course…nor do they care. They have three nine hole courses but insist on stacking everyone in line on one side sometimes resulting in more than a dozen groups lined up waiting and over an hour wait to tee off. Their only goal at Lambert Acres is taking your money and the quality of your experience is none of their concern. But, there’s enough local rednecks that don’t know how a respectable course is supposed to operate to keep them in business so they couldn’t care less. If you’re somewhat serious about the game…Go down the road to Egwani Farms. It is a much better experience.
Nice Public Course
Good public course. 27 holes allows for good pace.
Forgiving Course
Course was in great shape and is very forgiving. Played around 8:30 and it was packed. A lot of slower players held us up, but great course.
Overall nice course
We played the red course and orange course. The orange course was more interesting and scenic. The fairways and greens were in good shape overall. Will play it again.
Do over
Very enjoyable. Good course conditions, super friendly staff and nice pace of play.
Nice little course.
Friendly staff. Good value. The course was in great shape. Will be back!
Great place for golf
Enjoyed this course. Greens are middle paced and in great shape. Good mix of short and long holes.
Lambert Acres July 2021
This a beautiful course with very well maintained tee boxes, fairways and greens.
Unfortunately, when I arrived to check in the man at the counter looked up, saw me and continued opening the mail. I wanted a few moments and told him I was there to check in for my 9:00 tee time. His response was “huh”? I repeated, I’m here to check in for my 9:00 tee time. He told me they don’t accept tee times. I explained that I had booked online through GolfNow and had already paid a portion of the greens fees. He nodded and reluctantly checked my party in. I was there with my teenage son and husband, one of just two women who I saw at the course. I really felt as though this man did not want a woman playing at the course. My husband picked up on this as well and stepped in to take over the interaction. He was treated much better than I was. I will not return to this course nor will I recommend it to anyone else. This is really a shame because the course was beautifully maintained.
Good golf; great views
Not much flash but the fairways are good and the greens are receptive even in the summer heat. The 27-hole layout has been improved greatly over the years - and provides a solid option for your average player living or visiting Blount County.
No tee times
Made a tee time online and get to the course and are told they don’t take tee times!! How messed up is that. Aren’t even nice about it. Then told to see the starter, who we never did find. Free for all at the first tee. Wow.
Great round
The tees, greens and fairways were in great shape.
I look forward to playing this course again.
Tee Time, What Tee Time?
This course does not honor the tee time purchased via Golf Now or Golf Pass. You simply show up and get in line. Not cool. I need more reliability in planning for a golf outing.
