Always Good
Always enjoy Lambert. Good pace. Fun to play. Challenging but not too difficult. 27 holes always a plus.
Need signs on entire course
No signs on entire course to show the way to next hole, and identify each hole at tee box (only a small hole number painted on cart path next to white tee location).
Played as "single", since twosome just ahead of me refused to let me join them. Played thru them and went on. (Starter had suggested I join them, since "they are good guys".)
Had a great time
Met up with a senior twosome like myself and my playing partner. Course management was as always friendly and considerate of each group on the course. Had a great game, got my exercise, shot a few good hits and went home satisfied.
The staff does a great job taking care of the course
The tees, greens and fairways are in great condition. The orange cours is my favorite.
Pro Shop Manager
Showed up @ 1:50 to play twilight round. Ask guy (owners grandson) if we could pay for twilight and start since nobody waiting to play. He responded with cursing and abusive language. I asked to speak with owner , he agreed and owner shows up to tell me this is his grandson as the grandson continued to speak toward me with abusive cursing insults. Owner didn`t quieten him down to hear my response. Found out this part owner is Sheriff of Blount County ! So much for politeness and fairness ! I also found out they own 40% of Pine Lakes GC. Will never play their either !!!!
Nice Mountain views
Fun fairly easy course. Some of the greens are small but in good shape. It was a nice peaceful round of golf.
Great wide open course
Im a low handicapper and played from the blues. Great views and elevation changes. You can hit driver on almost every hole. 17 tee shot looked like a hole from a magazine. Greens are smallish with not a lot of breaks. It is a great course, especially for beginners. My wife just started playing. She had a great time as well. We played the Orange and white nines. I was able to use the golf now app to record scores.
They did not tell us there was going to be a tournament there at my tee time. It took us forever to play and we had to play the same nine holes. Plus there isn’t any maps of any of the holes or anything. So if you couldn’t see the flag you had to guess on where to hit it
This course is always well maintained, would refer everyone here.....excellent!!!!
Well maintained course!!
Awesome course, very polite people, well maintained and not a super hard course to play, love this course!!!!
The greens, sand traps and tees were in great condition
The course was in great condition. The staff does a great job taking care of the course, facilities and equipment. I look forward to playing here again.
Personal favorite
This course is a personal favorite of mine. So much so the 45min drive to play here is here enjoyable. Really enjoy the layout of the course along with the offering of 27 holes. This particular round was the first time I've ever had an issue with the pace of play even though I'm rating it as excellent. One foursome in front of us just so happened to be absolutely clueless. On multiple occasions the 4th guy to tee off would address his ball and not even have his glove on yet. Either way, first of many rounds out here in 2018, can't wait to come back when everything greens up a bit!
The staff does a great job taking care of the course.
The greens were not too fast or too slow. I found a level place to tee off on every hole.
27 holes is a plus
Our group only plays here ocassionally due to distance ....if closer it would be one of our weekly choices.....great layout on all three 9's...just challenging enough..
Fun
Forgiving course but lots of hills to make it interesting. I’m guessing it was because of th time of year but the ball had very little roll.
I played the red and orange courses
The temperature was in the low 60s and there was a light rain when I started on the 1st hole but the rain stopped by the time we got to the 3rd hole. The greens were in pretty good shape for January and they weren't too fast or too slow. I like playing this golf course and look forward to playing it again.
The weather was great and the greens were not too wet or too dry.
I enjoy golfing here. My favorite holes are hole 6 on the orange course because of water hazard and the slope of the green and hole number 8 on the white course because of the two sand traps on the front of the green.
