Lost Creek Golf Club

This has always been a great place, so sorry to see them closing. I had to get one last round in, even in yesterday days rain me and my son had a blast. I wanted to play hole #13 again I had a hole in one on it in ‘99. We finished yesterday round with my son paring the last hole a memory for both of us.

An inexpensive course to play but you get what you pay for. Fairways are a little below average while greens are ok but small. The layout has several issues that make it not so good. Because it is so affordable it tends to get its share of slow players who are not very good. The staff in the pro shop are very friendly and helpful.

Son loves it he is very sad to see the course he learn to play golf is leaving

Awesome course for the money. My family have played here fo 25 years. So sad to here they are closing on October 31st. This was where I drove my first ball while learning from my dad many years ago. Hope someone buys it and keeps it open and away from some greedy developer.

The course condition has been bad for a while. Found out today they are closing at the end of the month.

We love to play this course. Great price, very good pace of play and fun. However, when I left after playing a round of golf today. I noticed two new signs at the entrance. They are auctioning off the golf course as a whole or subdivided lots. It will be sadly missed. Play it while you can.

Don't let the yardage fool you...its a challenge. Small greens with slope, trees, bunkers and dog legs make this course fun to play. Plus the views are awesome! It's a great value and change of pace.

Small greens that hold well here, although much slower than most I’ve played recently. Nice layout that challenges club selection off the tee , drive placement . Fun course I’d play again.

This course is fun to play. Not very long, nice layout, friendly staff. I play it regularly and it’s always enjoyable.

This course has come a long way since i first played it years ago. It still, however, has a long way more to go .

Pros

1. Cheap prices on Golf Now.

2. Nice, friendly and accomodating

3 Golf carts are in pretty good shape (no gps) but could really use a self breaking mechanism for steep hills.

4 Pace of play is usually good.

Cons

1. Greens are slow but in pretty good shape otherwise.

2. Fairways are not very good.

3. Course layout is average.

4. Only rest rooms are in the clubhouse so you better use them at the beginning and at the turn. They are roomy, clean, and everything works.

5. Not enough drinking water available on the course.

I hate to write this review because this is the first place I ever teed up a golf ball. But seems like the course has been half way maintained. Fairways were bad, and rough meant lost balls. Sometimes fairways even meant lost balls. The greens were surprisingly good condition though. Only thing that made easier to stomach was I played it on a $10.00 hotdeal. I can only hope that someones turns this thing around. I left saying I'd never give them anymore of my money, but I wish I had to eat my words.

Thank God the big tree on 2 is gone. Let's keep praying the big tree on 18 is next. Lost Creek is a great little coarse. Staff is the best.

This is a great course. Nice layout, not overly difficult, fun to play and a great value. People are very nice too.

Friendly staff at quiet course with a playable track. Did not see any sprinklers, so concerns about how bad the fairways would become as the summer continues. There were already many places in the fairway that were dirt patches.

Course conditions could be better. Need a mower every now and again.
