Sevierville Golf Club - Highlands Course

Hard but forgiving. Love the course. Was in very good shape.

The course was ready for me when I got there 20 minutes early and let go out early.

First time at this course. Upon arrival staff were very courteous and attentive. Played as a single and put together with a delightful husband and wife. Started a few minutes early which was nice and pace was acceptable until the 'tough' holes began and things started to bog down. The course was in great shape but the greens had recently been punched so they were nothing like the pristine practice green. An excellent variety of holes with a couple of blind shots to add some more difficulty. Overall a fantastic day!

This was the first time playing the Highlands Course at SGC. My initial thought at seeing the scorecard was "why is it only 6200 yards?" but don't let that yardage mislead. This layout is much tighter than its sister course, The River. There are several demanding tee shots into rather narrow landing areas. In choosing the Black tees we were challenged not only by three Par 3s over 200 yards but also multiple forced carries over wetlands and waste areas. The greens here are intriguing with undulations, tiers, ridges, and the overall a real extent contributing to the fun. There are a couple where a chip from below the hole is much preferable to a putt from the rear portion of the green. The only criticism would be in tee markers. The black and blue tees on some holes are not close to the standard tees with markers so is often difficult to confirm the proper position. This is a minor issue for a first time player and overall the course, staff, and value are top notch. We will return soon.

While staying at Smokie Mountain Waterpark Resort, I was able to play a round at this course since it is on site. Nice layout, plenty on water, sand, trees and tall grass to deal with on errant shots. Greens are fast with very few straight in putts. Staff very friendly and got a great price with a Hot Deal

First time on this 18. Good layout very different than River. Cart path only. Quite wet. Difficult greens rolling undulations, good shape though. Fairways not green yet- play again for sure!!

From the clubhouse to the practice/driving range carts employees finally the course. Five stars all the way through! Eagles rivers ponds and beautiful mountain scenery. Wonderful manicured fairways and greens. A must play!!!!!!! 36 holes/a full day of memories/fun.

Friendly staff. Excellent conditions with fast play 31/2 hours to play with 2 players. You won't be disappointed

Very pretty course, and it is fun to play. It is challenging for any golfer, but it is fair from every tee box position. Some of the greens are small and elevated, so approach shots need to be pretty exact. Overall a good experience. Recommend highly. I will probably play here every time I visit.

The course was in great shape, greens fast and well groomed, fairways well mowed.

Very informative starter. Course in very good fall condition. Greens were fast and tricky. Very glad we didn't walk as long treks between some holes.

Will play again, though will play River instead of Highlands this time. Only for variety.

October is beautiful and the course is in great shape and we are playing again tomorrow. Great food and drinks. Highly recommend this course if you are in the Gatlinburg area...

Interesting layout. Challenging greens. Awesome staff that are very helpful and extremely friendly!

2 great courses at 1 location a must play while in the mountains

With no rain in almost a month the course conditions were great. The greens rolled true and pace of play was good considering it was a weekend.

Enjoyed the course layout. Beautiful area of Tennessee. Had a good time playing here.
