Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Golfer Reviews
My opinion.
This course has great potential if it was maintained correctly. The layout is great and a pretty easy course all in all. Im not sure if these guys have heard of a mower or not but thats what it needs. Greens where in horrible shape all around. Fairway felt like i was stepping out in some two month old grass and god forbid you loose one in the rough. We played at a fast pace, but it was next to impossible to do in the conditions of this course. Honestly this was a first and last time for us. Take what you want from this review but in all of our opinions this course isn't worth $20 to play! Do better guys, dont set false expectations when someone calls in to ask about the course! The desert looks better!

Beginner Experience
I am very new to golf and played a scramble with some friends who are also beginners. It was a very fun time and the marshall Mando was very nice.

Tough course
Water on at least 7 of the nine holes I played. Course is well managed and well maintained. I will play it again.

Poor green conditions
Course is in poor shape. A temporary green on #11. Greens should be in better condition. Mowers haven't been out in a while.

Goat Ranch
It’s a shame to see. Fairway was full of weeds, course is poorly maintenance, greens are in awful condition. We paid $50 on a Saturday for a prime time Saturday Am tee time which is not a lot…. But $20 woulda been too much for this place.

Greens are horrible
Not worth the money. Should be a $20 course how bad the greens were.

Green is deteriorating
Green is deteriorating. There is not much green left that make puttings become hard. Cart path only plus playing front 9 twice made game become very slow & frustrated. I had to leave after first 9. It took almost 3.5 hrs fro 9 holes. Not worth the money.

Unplayable course
It was a good course last year. Greens are in worst condition that I never seen in any course.
There are no fairways and even tee boxes are not well maintained.

Poor Course Conditions
Usually one of my favorites but this day the course was in pretty rough shape. Half or more of the greens barely had any grass at all and the fairways were unusally in bad shape. When asked The gentlemen in the pro shape said all this was due to the weather, which I can understand. But charging full price and not notifying players prior to starting a rounds of the conditions is unforgivable

Grand Oaks
I enjoy the course because it’s relatively short. It has a nice mixture of par 3s and par 5s. There are a few places along some of the ponds that some sort of corn shoul be erected since it would be very easy to roll your cart into the pond. The pace of play was slow as I was behind some men who thought they were on a Sunday stroll! Otherwise I had a good day.

Poor course maintenance
There were maybe 6 greens out of 18 with actual puttable grass. The rest were dead grass and dirt. Waiting time for players ahead added an hour to our game time. I don’t plan to return.

Lost every green, many fairways
I was bummed to see that every green was gone. The fairways were not much better. Had I been told, I probably would have gone somewhere else. The saving grace was the group i paired up with were really nice. I enjoyed the round for that reason alone.

Terrible condition
Not even remotely close to being worth the cost. Course condition was terrible. Save your money.

Save your money and play somewhere else
I’ve played here numerous times before and this last time was an awful experience. The course was in horrific condition. I wish I had visual evidence to show you, but the fact that this place charges in the mid 50’s to play here is criminal.
