About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Poor Course Conditions
The course design is great. There were some good layouts, and it’s quite challenging at times. Curse you hole 6! I hit a pretty 3W shot that barely didn’t make it over the creek hazard.
However, the course is very poorly maintained. There were dirt patches everywhere, and the course looked almost forgotten. The bunkers have seen better days. Greens were pretty good though, so there’s a plus.
Lots of potential here, and I’ll come back in the spring to see if conditions improve. It has been a challenging summer and drought for courses.
Liked the course
Liked the course. As new golfers my son and I were not ready for that caliber of a course. Overall we liked the setup of the course. We will come back when we get a little better.

Fun place for the money.
Had a great time. Fairways were a little rough but staff was amazing and let me demo a set for free. I would recommend for the price.

Enjoyed the round
Course was in good shape for the time of year, Dec 5. Only issue was the course let a fivesome go in front of us and we were only 2. Third hole is a par 3, we thought for sure they'd let us play through, but no. Would have been nice if pro shop would have let us tee off before them or had a Marshall that could have let us slip through. We just skipped a few holes and went about our day.

Not a golf course, more like farmland
Paid $50 to to 10 balls in the middle of the fairway, course is in poor condition and my backyard looks better than the greens.
The place is run down and really, it looks like someone put a few flags up on farmland. The only good thing is that the staff is extremely friendly and pace of play is good, because no one wants to play there…
Will never be back there.

Goat track
Course is in poor condition and not worth the deep discount green fee. Bunkers are washed out and unplayable. Greens are a 4 on the stimp. Won’t play here again.

Great Course
We totally enjoyed our round. The fairways we well maintained and the greens we well kept. The staff ws veryy ourteous. We will be back the next time we are together in the area.

Hidden Gem
Absolutely love this place. It’s a fun old school club lay out with hidden water everywhere. Staff is super friendly and the culture is laid back, welcoming to golfers from everywhere and all ages. Always an awesome time. Thanks G.Oaks!

The course needs maintenance
Roughs were weeds! Lost 5 balls in grass just off fairways. Sand traps were all ground under repair due to floods a month ago. Greens were ok, although very slow. With some attention course could be nice

Solid course for a Sunday.
If you are looking for a golf course with friendly staff and pretty challenging holes at a decent price, this is the course for you. Staff is very friendly. The course does need some work but that may be due to the weather. Could use some landscaping & bunker treatment. Overall a great course.
