About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Don’t Play
Staff is great. They have a small clubhouse which is nice too. However, the course is absolutely horrible. They virtually don’t have greens. They have a placed that’s mowed down with sand and a stick. I paid for 18 holes, left after 8 holes because the course was so terrible. Now you might ask, well why didn’t you just stay one more hole and finish out the 9. Well, there were 4 GROUPS ON THE 9TH TEE BOX WAITING TO TEE OFF. I will be actively telling people to not even think about playing this course.

They’ve lost the greens.
I have played here before and it was not the best but was fine every once in a while. Now it is just terrible. Greens are just dirt or dead grass. If you’re a beginner it’d be a great place to learn but no serious rounds of golf are being played here.

Water, Water everywhere!!
On this course you need to bring 1 of 2 things: Your 'B game' at least, that is, know your distances and hit the ball straight OR a bag of shag balls your don't care about losing. Water is EVERYWHERE, and it's usually hidden water. Currently (March 2023) there is a lot of 'weed acne' on the greens, and a lot of sand on the tee's. But it appears they are working on it.

Nice course still updating
The course is going to be nice once completed. The staff was one of the nicest ever and the view from the club house is good. The course has some nice challenges and the water can be hidden so keep the driver in the bag. The greens are still coming so not good yet but it will get there. All in all a nice course that will turn into a hidden gem.

Trash everywhere
The staff was super nice but there was garbage all over the course. Greens were in worse condition than the fairways.

Waste of money
Greens are awful and there’s trash everywhere. This course should be closed permanently so people don’t continue to pay $55 to play on a course that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. I honestly should be refunded my money

Needs some work
Great staff, but the greens and fairways need a lot of work. Not sure the greens will come back this season from the freeze. I’ll try again later in the summer to see if it comes back from looks like both flood and freeze damage. The course has real potential.

Course closed. GolfNow out of loop
This course may be fine. The one staffer there was great. But it was closed so I lost my green fee because of Golf Now.

Nice Course and Friendly Staff
The back 9 was closed due to previous weather conditions but the front 9 was in good shape. The staff was some of most friendly people I've dealt with at a course. The guys that checked us in were very accommodating and the Course Marshall's were very nice, talkative, informative and appreciative of us being out there playing!
