Grand Oaks Golf Club
About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Fun course
Like the layout of the holes good mixture of wide open to dog legs holes. Only downfall was the rough was over 5 inches high and if you were just off the fairway you could not find your ball!!!
Hopefully will start cutting fairways
I normally love this course but saw the bad ratings so had to check it out. Greens I had no problem with, had been arrested & sanded lately but rolled fine. Tee boxes very hard, dry & long grass. Fairways also had long grass and very hard. Lost several balls down the middle. Hopefully things change it’s not that far away from being pretty good again.
Beautiful course
Love this place such a great place to play golf and chill in the bar afterwards, everyone is super friendly.
Bring balls
Played here a year ago and the fairway grass was so tall you’d hit one down the middle and never find your ball. I thought it was a fluke, and tried it again… nope, it was the same. Frustrating. But I guess it was better than not playing at all.
Good Potential
First time on this course and will be back for a more accurate judgement. Good course and pace. Grass was long and greens had a lot of sand on them. Really had to muscle the putts. Overall, great time and will return.
Poor Rate of Play
Let me begin by saying the staff were super friendly and caring. They got marshals out on the course to try to move things along. That being said, they admitted two massive parties at 8am that should not have been playing (7 people and 9 people). The parties stacked up everyone else and 18 holes took 5.5 hrs. I’m sure it was an instance of live and learn, and I wouldn’t expect them to make the same mistake again. Hopefully.
It’s golf
If you know what you’re getting into before you play, you’d know it’s in pretty normal condition for what it is. Fairways are a little long, figure what a normal second cut of rough looks like. Same with tee boxes. Greens are a little dried out but still roll true 90% of the time. If you’re expecting a TPC course, look somewhere else. If you’re looking to play golf, you really can’t go wrong here, but lower your expectations.
"The Ranch" Grand Oak
Can not say it is a golf course. rather than ranch field.... so sad.
Horrible
The absolute worst course I’ve played. Fairways are like rough, greens are like the parking lot. Bring lots of balls even if your hitting straight!
Can I get a refund
I was not able to play the course, they closed it because they were doing some repairs due to the heavy rain the day before.
It is possible to get a refund?
Thank you!
Closed
Not sure why this golf course showed up on the Golf Now app, but I paid for a round of golf only to show up to a course that looks like it's been closed for a while now.
Course not maintained
The course was very poorly maintained. I lost balls in the fairway, where it should have been considered the “short grass” but it was way longer than that. The fairways were the rough and the rough felt like a pasture.
