About
Grand Oaks Golf Club enjoys a peaceful, tranquil setting among century-old oak trees and an abundance of wildlife. The course is as challenging as it is scenic with tree-lined fairways and small greens that will test your accuracy. It may have a traditional design but there is still some bite to this round. There are several strategically placed bunkers that lurk greenside to challenge you even further. Two meandering creeks weave along the golf course as well, coming into play on a few holes. The layout has a nice mix of holes from reachable par 5s to tough par 3s. Grand Oaks Golf Club is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. There are some birdie opportunities available if you play it smart and it's forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Muddy and needs to be mowed
The grass on the tee boxes was almost as high as the rough. The whole place could use a good hair cut. It was cart path only. They could have marked the areas with deep, slippery mud. It was a horrible experience. I only made it the first nine. Would not recommend unless you’re desperate to play.
Do they even care?
I’ve played on some neglected properties and still respected the design layout etc
This place must have no budget and it shows

Nice challenging part nine, driveway can use some repairs

The course offered quite a few challenges with water and deep rough around nearly every hole. The price was excellent for an early morning Saturday start. We were a little rushed off the first hole but the pace got much better as we played.

Staff is always awesome
Course is in decent shape. The greens were pretty green but they have some bumps. This course to me caters to the golfers who shoot in the low 90's. It could use some grooming but hey I'm retired and I don't let the small things bug me. I always enjoy playing here especially during the week because of the pace of play.. I have never come here and not been greeted without a smile. Keep the good work up.

1st time playing the course and it was miserable. Had a very hard time finding my ball off off the fairway. So frustrated that I left after 9 holes. Not recommended

Slow play
They put a group of 6 two groups ahead of us. Halfway through playing and this has been an extremely slow day.

Avoid This Course Until They Improve It
We played this course twice in June of 2023. Two of the 18 fairways were mowed. Some of the weeds were over 3 feet tall, on the fairways. It was easy to lose your ball, on the fairway, because of the very tall weeds. The greens had lots of dead patches. This used to be one of our favorite places to play. It may be that Grand Oaks had a problem with their staff or they may be going backrupt. Not sure. They gave a 25% discount because the course was so bad. I want them to improve the course so that we can play there again.

Greens were terrible
Greens were covered in dirt patches that made it completely unenjoyable to putt on.

The tee box and green are terrible.
If the green is bad, you can make a temporary green to improve it, and it's also a problem that the players don't keep the regulation at all and play, but the marshal can go around and point it out, but it's a pity that nothing has changed every time I go.

Terrible staff and maintenance
I went to this course, and it was absolutely terrible was not maintained well at all passive aggressive staff! And false advertisement on the price extremely disappointed would not recommend if your looking to golf, will NOT be coming back if i could leave 0 stars i would.
